This is where Nintendo need to step up the VC releases to fill the gap. Europe has again got a poor Wii U VC update this week.

Not much. Dine on E3 news until Pikmin.

There's always the chance of a surprise quick post-E3 release I guess.

Well summer is usually drought time for games anyway, so it isn't surprising at all that there won't be anything spectacular beyond Pikmin 3 for the next couple months (and even then we Americans won't get it until early August).

I could see Deus Ex coming in July.

I've been doing this comparison a lot because I think it's fair. The Wii in 2007 had this as it's list of games with scores above 80% on metacritic from June till the end of year:

.... and that was a killer end of year, the best second half of the year the Wii had in its life I'd argue. This part of the year is always quiet even in particularly good years but especially in the first year of a console's life.
