A rumor of what's coming tonight per GAF
Nintendo is working for several years on a new System. Not just a gaming system.
-Nintendo Direct is planed for this upcoming week = Mario kart 8 release date, Super smash bros release date, two new game announcements.
-Pokken is real. Pokemon/Tekken. Release date set for September 2014.
-Two Metroid games in development. One almost finished. Releasing Oktober 2014.
-ZeldaU is releasing Holiday 2014. Much darker and mature - u can feel the spirt of majoras mask in it.
-Japanese third partys are gathering closer around Nintendo. New exclusive deal and ips are going to be revealed.
-we are going to see at least 3 old long anticipated franchises from Nintendo this year
-New miyamoto ip. Only information is that there is no information. Kept very secret.
-eshop and retail games are getting cheaper
-Nintendo is going to drop some huge game changing suprises.
Well like i said, take it with a grand of salt, but according in what position my source is working, it seems really trustworthy.

Wow. If even 25 percent of this is true, I'd be a happy man. Seems almost too good to be true, to be honest. If Nintendo did these things, they'd be doing just about everything right, as well as just about everything they could do to turn things around. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm willing to bet the entirety of that rumor is fake. In fact, I will. 50 bucks there's no direct next week.
Seeing how this meeting is an investor's meeting, I think you're right. Focus will be on advertising and brand marketing strategy and not what's going to be released in the coming months.

Service being ID based and not device based means that it will be cross platform. All of your 3ds friends will now be your friends on WiiU, and vice-versa. At least that's what I'm getting from it.

Wait a minute? So the console that was being advertised mostly for the Gamepad...means they should make games that focus on the Gamepad? NO, REALLY?! Wow Nintendo, you've made the discovery of a lifetime, to focus on the thing your product is being advertised on! What a crazy concept!
yeah, seriously Nintendo, when the guys running Assassin's Creed into the ground are owning your own console innovation, you probably should do something about that. And they honestly should, I like the Gamepad and I feel it's at times an excellent multiplayer feature that makes me happy to own the console.
I honestly can't disagree much with anything he's said.
also I called May for Mario Kart and should have said it.
