Yes... and no. They only test my patience when it comes to offering club nintendo gifts for 20 minutes before running out.

Personally I haven't enjoyed a year of gaming as much in all my life.Highliights include The Wondeful 101, Pikmin 3, Arkham City, Wind Waker, Lego City, Darksiders 2, NSMBU and NSLU, Injustice, Rayman and Nintendoland on the Wii U. I'm looking forward to playing Arkham O, Mario 3d, Lego Marvel, MK8, DKTF, Smash Bros and Bayonetta 2. The only game I've hated on the system is Assassins Creed 3. The 3DS is still strong with Luigi Mansion, Pokemon X/Y, Inazuma 3, Ace Attorney 5, and Link between Worlds.

instead of worrying about contacting friends on Nintendo Networks, I phone, text, facebook msg or meet them in person.

Personally I think the whole 'Nintendo is failing us' message is just an excuse to big up the systems that haven't been released yet. If you enjoy Nintendo as much as I do, ignore it and keep having fun. And if it does all end tomorrow, remember you are part of an elite group who got to experience what made the Wii U special.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

What are your thoughts on these subjects?

You must have cussing in your games to enjoy them?

Nintendo offered you free services to do some interesting things with. They found a problem with those services (people sending inappropriate things to other people). So they shutdown those services in order to fix them and make them better. I don't see a problem with that, even if those services never come back. (They were FREE services)

If you want to complain about "watered down" ports then complain to the company that ported them. Kinda pointless to complain to Nintendo about another company's product.

Leaving older gamers out to dry? Really? I have been to the other side and back, I have see what counts as "Hardcore" and all it is, is graphics and shooting. I came back to Nintendo because there are experiences that I can't have anywhere else. Nintendo makes games for gamers of all ages, just like the games i grew-up with. So what is the problem with Nintendo not making "Mature" Content but instead focusing on making Fun Content?

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Nintendo's biggest flaw right now, to me, is their online. They come out with big mutliplayer games like Super Mario 3D World and there's no online play.. Mario Party 3DS with no online play. This is stupid and inexcusable, especially when they admit they can do it, just choose not too. It's not like they'd be taking away from the single player to focus on multiplayer because guess what.. these games are designed with that in mind. It's just plain disappointing.

That's the only thing bothering me about them right now.. I would like some more games from them but they'll get those rolling out sooner or later so I'm not worried about that too much. (for wii u, 3DS is already great and has a steady flow of games.)

Entire Wii U console is about 15 Nintendo 1st party games, THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NO OTHER 3rd party games! and that makes me mad. We must wait wait and wait for Nintendo to release one of those 15 games and in the mean time we have nothing to play.

Not wearing thin BUT initially the Wii U was to be my main console this year, I've now given that and have preordered an Xbox One Day One Edition. I'll still use my Wii U, but it will only be for exclusives now, which is sad. But oh well.

I'm not sure if it's fair to say they are pandering to children. Is it a family friendly system? No doubt. But "Family Friendly" just means kids can enjoy it, it doesn't mean kids can ONLY enjoy it. I still watch Pixar movies - regardless of if they're family friendly or not, they're enjoyable. If Mario is family friendly, but still a great game, so be it. Besides, for Nintendo the money is in the children. Parents know that they can buy a Nintendo system and not have to worry about running out of family friendly games for their kids to play (not to mention having games that the entire family can play and enjoy together).

But Pixar is a single studio more akin to EAD Tokyo while Nintendo is more like Dinsey which for all of their family friendly image also owns Miramax and other non kid friendlty entities.

Yeah, you've got a point there. Although, it actually is sort of easy to compare Nintendo to Disney. Both produce content which is mostly family friendly but can also be enjoyed by all, and both have specific studios that work best on specific projects. For example, Retro Studio produces the more mature stuff, like the Marvel movies that Disney produces. Pixar creates family friendly movies that are uber-popular and usually seen as something kids would enjoy, but everyone likes them. This can be compared to Game Freak and Pokemon. The main Disney Animation Studio would be similar to EAD Tokyo, as they are both most closely associated with their respective companies and also produce very popular content.

Anyways, the point is, there's nothing wrong with being a Disney fan as an adult, just as there is nothing wrong with being a Nintendo fan.

I thought everyone that didn't have a Wii U by choice was waiting for Xbox One and PS4, at this point. Those are literally coming out in a matter of weeks and days now.

I always go Nintendo. There's always software worth having on Nintendo systems. The only generation I ever went multiplatform was 7th with the Xbox 360 and PS3, unless you count Dreamcast as 6th gen, which I had for a while before I realized it was dead.

I never said they weren't. I was just stating that people tend to compare Nintendo to Pizar which is a really flawed analogy, I think Nintendo offers up a decent amount of content outside of their usual flair. Do I think they could improve their output to make it more varied, sure why not.

The Wii U actually has a nice little library of titles that's pretty varied and looks like a greatest hits of the Wii and Gamecube Era's respectively.

Usual Nintendo Suspects
New Super Mario Bros U
Pikmin 3
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
Game and Wario
Super Mario 3D World
Pokemon Rumble U
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Wii Style Games
Wii Fit U
Wii Sports Club
Sing Party
Wii Party U

Third Party Exclusives
ZombiU
Lego City Undercover
Sonic Lost World
Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Winter Games

Core Oriented Games
Nintendoland
The Wonderful 101
Bayonetta 2
X
Shin Megami Tensi X Fire Emblem

I wouldn't consider Nintendo Land a core game. It's more of a party game. I'd replace it with Smash Bros.

You're giving the "core" too much credit if you think any of them would give a Mario game more than a passing glance.

Only for their sake. I've got a ton out of my Wii U so far and even have a backlog of games. But I wish they would do more marketing and would quit delaying games. I just want them to stay relevant.
