It's happened twice and both were very different in nature. The most recent one involved Nintendo Land spending a long time on the loading screen before the lights on the curtains. It just looped through the music and never got to opening the curtains. The first time I had it break was starting up DK Crash Course where it froze after showing the goal the first time I ever loaded the system. Between the two I've played it fairly regularly every day since launch with no other issues.
I see the firmware update hasn't fixed anything so that means a professional like myself would immediately claim the hardware as the fault... I LOL at problems all the time and fix them because it's better than crying and not doing anything constructive about it like you guys
