My internet is 4 mb/s, fast for my area. And it crashes. I can download like a 5 GB game in 20 mins.

Seems more stable on mine, Everything loads and closes alot quicker. Never had a crash, wireless but dual band router for strong signal.

So far so good.

Ok , so more intriguing news....ive been looking at other Wii U forums / posts about hard locks. Whats stood out to me is some folks didnt get any....and then Bang! Ten days in or so and they get their first and subsequent freezes. Weird.

I never had a crash for the first few days, now I get them about once a day. None since this recent update though, could just be coincidence. Also menu's seem a lot faster. My internet is REALLY slow, it is less than 1mbps. So thats my two cents. Hope you work out your issue, but mine seems fixed. I will post again if I have any more issues.

Maybe servers and if it is I would say it would be nintendos. Unless there was such an influx of players on Black Ops. If it is Nintendos servers then I hope they sort it before Xmas before everyone who had one then joins in.

360 version is even dodgier, my brother kept being disconnected and lagging from games and I seen people complaining about it allover the internet, even Elpresador, a YouTuber complained. The Wii U version doesn't do any of that. :P And it's not Black Ops 2 being dodgy, it's the whole system being dodgy, it's a firmware problem. And we have fast internet, its not the internets fault. The Wii U version plays butter smooth.

Video proof doesn't lie, this is unseen on the Wii U. I can hop into games with a snap of a finger and never got disconnected from one game. Except when my Wii U froze in the game once but it's not limited to just that game.

Call that slow? My moms internet goes around 50 to 100 kb/s. And it's funny cause she pays for the same package my dad had and he had speeds of 700 kb/s to 1 mb/s. Now he got cable and we are getting around 3.7 to 4 mb/s, nice change. :D

It could well be a combination of multiple bugs, some fixed in this update some not, and faulty hardware. It seems like some people are having more luck after the update and I think it's telling that while the main problem was with Nintendo Land.... nobody has posted about problems with that since the update.

and the crazy theories people are posting about why it's happening are.... crazy. :)

I don't think it has anything to do with the servers because I have had zero issues and I'm connected everytime I go on the WiiU ;)

Why are theories crazy? The whole point of forums such as these are to discuss , be that good or bad points. And if some people are having issues with something , putting theories across is one way of discussing things is it not? We who are having problems just want this sorting out. Count your lucky stars if your not having issues :)

On a side note its in everybodys interest , problems or no problems , to want these launch problems fixed , because if they arnt the Wii U will get a bad public record and with new consoles from microsoft and maybe sony next year , thats not good for anyone.....who bought this machine.

Don't worry I'm sure Sony and Microsoft will have plenty of teething issues when they release the new systems... It's a given mate ;)
