Pokemon X/Y: What can I say. It looks great and I'm going to get it launch day.
Super Mario 3D World: Meh. I was looking for something more like SM64, SMS, and SMG. This is a bit dissapointing, but hey it's a new 3D Mario. Gonna get it launch day as well.
Mario Kart 8: I never really cared for the series but I have to say, the graphics look absolutely incredible.
Wii Party U: .........
Wind Waker HD: I love the Miiverse integration and looks like a really good game. I'm probably not going to get it though, I don't need a remake of a game I already have.
Wonderful 101: I'VE SEEN ENOUGH OF THIS GAME ANDIGKJWUSHXOQOWNHBCA8IUNBDJBUHAIDB
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Breeze: Dissapointment of the day
Bayonetta 2: The game looks great, and I'm exited to hear more from it. I'm probably not going to get it though.
X: I pooped my pants.
Super Smash Bros: SOMEONE GET ME WATER I THINK IM DYING OF OVERAWESOMENEES OVER HERE. SOME TOILET PAPER AND CLEAN UNDERWEAR WOULD BE NICE AS WELL

Started pretty good, then it turned into crap and then they ended with a boom.

I was expecting alot more from the new Mario game given how sublime the Galaxy series were. And although Mario 3D land is a great game on the 3DS that doesn't mean that the game experience translates as well on the Wii U. I will say that Mario Kart 8 does look great and Smash Bros ON THE 3DS looks fantastic.
But the only game that got me truly excited was the X game as there was alot more showing this time round. There was no new announcement made during this e3 that we didn't already know about and 3rd party support is looking anemic at best (all the had was UBI soft and Warner Bros games shown).

I liked Nintendo's E3. I think they showed WAY better games than Sony or Microsoft, thus far, IMO.

lol, WRONG. Ryse, Infamous 2, project Spark, MGSV, KI, etc.
see, the thing is, people prefer PS4 to Xbone because PS4 has no DRM. that's why people are hating Xbone.

You can't say I'm 'WRONG'. It's an opinion. I don't give a s*** about those games Sony showed.

it's funny, i seem to be the only one who doesn't give a S*** about any of the Direct games (including X).

That's fine, but I didn't say you were wrong for thinking that. That's the difference.
Why do you have a Zelda avatar and post on a Nintendo site if you like Sony/Microsoft better?

because i still have hope in the Zelda universe. i love Zelda, and it's pretty much the last thread keeping me in with nintendo. that and mariokart, which despite its name looks very fun. i am actually hyped for Zelda:ALBW and WWHD more than anything right now (nintendo-related).

I'm amazed at how much all of you are complaining about Super Mario 3D World. THAT WAS AMAZING! Why do you keep questioning "Is this the next 3D Mario? It better not be" It was incredible and none of us have even gotten a chance to play or see more yet so CALM DOWN. The real question you should all be asking is: Is Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze being developed by RETRO?

no, that was not amazing. SM3DW was more like SM3DL, so in other words, we didn't want another game like that. we wanted a game like sunshine and 64. it helps that i hate SM3DL, so since 3DW will be a similar type game, i dont want it. other people like SM3DL, which is fine, but they didnt want another one, they wanted a 64/sunshine type 3D mario game.

It looks like a fun little demo. But, it's just so generic. The biggest highlights were multiplayer and cat suit gimmicks.

We throw around terms like amazing to loosely around here.

I refuse to believe that was all. I'm still hoping at 1:00 PST there are going to be more Wii U games and the Retro "project everyone wanted them to do" will appear. I know, I'm acting pretty delusional.

Obviously Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros., Mariokart, and Donkey Kong all looked great. That's obvious. But the only one I didn't know about was Donkey Kong, so this E3 presentation was relatively disappointing for me. They didn't announce anything that makes me feel confident about this holiday season either. They didn't do anything shocking and surprising. No "go check the eshop now for (fill in the blank)". I already knew I was buying all of their first party games that have already been announced. What I really wanted was Holiday release dates and new surprises.

Whats this "we" nonsense? Speak for yourself bro.

I wanted something like 3D Land but bigger and more beautiful and unique and I got it! This day could've been so awesome if it weren't for all the people complaining because Nintendo didn't do everything exactly like their fans demanded.

What's unique? It's basically just a juiced up 3d Land. There doesn't seem to be any real atmosphere to it. You can't look at Pinna Park or Shiverburn Galaxy and then look at 3D World and say the atmosphere doesn't seem bland and uninspired.

i'm sorry what? WE don't want more SM3D games, WE want more 64/Sunshine games. that's why "WE" (as in everyone disappointed in SM3DW) don't like it. you even said it yourself.

WE, the gaming community, did NOT want SM3DW, WE wanted more 3D games like sunshine and 64.

EXACTLY. 3D Land was the best gameplay style for a 3D Mario game I've ever seen. The problem was that it was short, easy, and simple. I felt like there had to be more to this concept, that 3D Land was just a test of the new way Mario games will play, and it is! This looks like everything 3D Land wanted to be and more!

They should have showed the trailers that they put up on their Youtube site. They look SO MUCH BETTER than what they showed in the Direct.
Its pretty odd when you consider the fact that they had no time constraints this time around.

They only showed like 2 levels of the new Mario 3D. How can you come to the conclusion that the atmospheres are bland when we've seen 2 out of 8 levels in 1 world out of 8-9? There's probably 70 other levels we haven't seen.

We went from Galaxy to Kitty-Mario..
Its not hard to tell why people are disappointed.

because being that its in the same series as SM3DL, it probably doesn't have a hub world like 64 and sunshine. you can't go anywhere after a level and take a breath of fresh air.

It's really hard to argue with what some people are saying. I would much prefer a game similar to Mario 64 as opposed to a juiced up 3Dland. The secret? Multiple ways to finish a level and a hub world I suppose.

If this is Mario's 3D future, then that's really, really depressing.

I guess we've just been spoiled the past 17 years, but there's no real depth to what we saw today. Like I said earlier, how can anybody look at levels like Pinna Park and Shiverburn or Freeze flame and then be amazed by 3D World? That's an honest question.

Well I, part of the gaming community, wanted a game like 3D Land. Stop representing everyone and acting like we all wanted the Mario games you want.

I am. I said I wanted a game like this. I didn't say we wanted this, I'm just representing my own opinion. Unlike you who seems to continue to insist that EVERYONE wanted a 64/Sunshine game. Once again, stop representing everyone and assuming they all want your dream Mario game.
