And i hope mario 3d world isnt the 3d mario game they were talking about?

i hope i'm not the only one who thinks that direct was LAME.i hope that isn't all nintendo's doing for E3. that was just rubbish. compared to the PS4 and X1 conferences, i just want to strangle Iwata for doing such a poor job.

Add to that all the best releases are not out for another f,ing year! PATHETIC.

There was nothing really to get excited about.
Most of the new titles we already knew were coming, and Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World were pretty underwhelming (especially 3D World because I was expecting A LOT more from a Wii U 3D Mario).
Donkey Kong Country will be pretty great, but if that's all Retro has in the works then it's really disappointing that they're not tackling something different.
I got most excited for Wind Waker and X, and those are two titles we've already heard about/seen.

It was awful and i dont much care for mario 3d world what happened to getting stars and jumping into objects like mario 64 and sunshine

@CliffordB Nobody except you and me talk about TIME. First game release is in next 4-5 months where Mario Kart 8 is coming next year march-april. What were they thinking? Nintendo launched only with 2-3 exclusives where Nintendo Land is not really the game, but tech demo.

And if you count NON-EXISTANT 3rd party support we came to conclusion that we have no games to play.

I'm so glad 3D World is nothing like SM64 or Sunshine, I really didn't care for either.

that was what i was hoping for when Nintendo said 3D mario. but then i got Mario 3D world. and now i feel like strangling Iwata.

Guys, do you actually think they are gonna waste their beloved IP, mario 3d world is gonna be brilliant! I am very excited to finally play something like this with my friends and family

I really hope Nintendo is trolling us with 3D World. It's not a terrible game, but it's not a system seller and it definitely falls short of the 3D Mario main series expectations. Who can honestly look at 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy and get excited for this?

watching it on youtube and here's my impressions.

Pokemon X and Y- Completely unnecessary when they could ave decided to just live stream the roundtable. Game looks good, despite Fairy type being stupid. I was expecting an announcement of a Wii U battle arena game.

Super Mario 3D world- Its a Wii U version of Super Mario 3D Land, Its not a bad thing per say as 3D land is my favorite Mario, but I was expecting something bigger for Mario HD. I was guessing something harking back to Mario 64. The graphics aren't all that mind blowing either compared to Sonic Lost world or even the galaxy games. The mulitplayer looks fun and i'm hoping for online mode.

Mario Kart 8- I had my doubts about this game but it looks amazing for what it is. Really wasn't expecting the art style/graphics to wow me the way they did. The first thing if the direct that made me take notice.

Wii U Party- Not my cup of tea but looks okay. Shouldn't be delayed though.

Wii Fit U- Another game that shouldn't be delayed

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker- Looks better than most Original Wii U games which is sad. The tingle stuff looks okay but why couldn't the just use the 3DS?

Art Academy- A nice addition for miiverse but not really E3 worthy.

X - Game of the motherloving direct. My reason for buying a Wii U. The music was ace.

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze- sigh

Bayonetta 2- new design is awesome.

Smash Bros- I need it in my veins nao.

The Wonderful 101- Platinum games are doing it great.

I mean they said mario 3d game so i counted my chickens before they hatched and CAT MARIO IS HIDEOUS

What they had was good the problem was what they didn't have. They didn't have a large scale 3D Mario, they didn't have what we were hoping for from Retro, they didn't have anything unexpected.

But the Mario Kart and Smash Bros trailers were more than I could have hoped for
