I know I don't like to make these types of topics, but I've looked almost everywhere and I've found nothing talking about it.
Is Rayman Legends actually an exclusive game for the Wii U? To me this seems weird, especially considering that the Wii U is in such a place that nobody has any single, concrete idea if it will be successful or be a failure. While this makes sense with Ubisoft's other support of the Wii U (Assasin's Creed 3, ZombiU, etc.), it seems odd that Ubisoft would choose to have more than one exclusive title (ZombiU) for the new console.

Ehhh that seems like a bad idea. The game barley sold on four systems.
Ubisoft said Origins finally made a profit a while ago and everyone knows it only sold poorly originally because of the insane idea of releasing it at the same time as every other popular game.
They said Rayman Legends and ZombiU would be exclusive to the WiiU for now but that could change.
ZombiU is also coming out for the PS3 and Vita.
I guess it didn't stay exclusive for long.

Wow. That's double-trolling within the same sentence. I'm impressed.

I don't know about it being that bad of an idea. People tend to pick up launch titles even if they aren't that great and Rayman Legends looks pretty good. The whole collection of Rayman Origins games sold ~1.4mill across all platforms which isn't much more than sales for Street Fighter IV on 3DS (0.79mill) and Red Steel on Wii (0.64mill). Compare that to Red Steel 2 which came out late in the Wii's life and was significantly better than the first Red Steel but only sold 0.52mill.
Could be a positive for them. If the Wii U does alright and Rayman Legends gets some hype behind it this could easily sell better than Origins.
I think the very fact that it is exclusive makes it a more appealing launch title. More people will probably pick it up with the console knowing that it is an experience they can't get anywhere else. Making it exclusive also allows Ubisoft to take full advantage of the Wii U's capabilities. I think it looks great though I'm not planning on getting it until I learn more about the single player mode, assuming there even is one.
It's going to stay exclusive. Zombi U has too many features unique to Wii U for them to port it. Remember every Wii U port will be a downgrade making it even more difficult. Also, Ubisoft always says that kind of things - they said it about the Red Steels - I don't see them anywhere else, do you?
As for Rayman Legends, also very unlikely to happen due to the Wii exclusive use of the tablet. It's in HD already so there's no advantage in any other console and it will tank anywhere else - not worth the efforts. Remember Ubisoft has so many titles. Only possible port is an iOS down the road (2 years) for the iPad and which will make use only of the new character.
Does launching next to a Mario platformer make sense. People usually get 1 or two games at launch. For the common consumer thats going to be Mario bros along with srinblenauts or lego city.
