Topic: Is Miiverse really that bad?

I think it should have the option of having you actually meet people- I know they are looking out for kids but there should be an adult section.

My problem with Miiverse are 10-13 year old kids. If you go to the Netflix and Hulu Community they're everywhere. All the post are "I'm single" I'm so bored" "Follow me" Let's chat" Open chat" "Looking for a gf" "hit yeah and i will follow" ahh! its so annoying. I wish the mods would do something about it...

Yeah too much spam, every screenshot Sakurai posts, there's complaints that so-and-so aren't in. LIKE THEY'RE GOING TO READ THAT STUFF!
Aside from that I have issues with minor stuff...Miiverse getting glitchy sometimes and such.

The best part of Miiverse is the art and the memes like that 3D horses community.

I don't even mind the moderation after what happened to pullbox last year.

wish they added a "no begging" rule to control that madness......

I'm rather indifferent to Miiverse honestly. The only thing I genuinely enjoy is the artwork some people put up. It can be quite breathtaking at times.

But to those who think Miiverse is perfect, I ask you to read any one of Sakurai's PofD responses. I've seen YouTube arguments more civil...

I really enjoy drawing and looking at other people's drawings, but I don't care for having to sift through the boring and unnecessary posts such as "25 followrs!!1!," and "evry1 who yeas this wil get a folow!!!."

Looks stupid to me.

I don't really bother with it. It's not bad; it just doesn't serve much purpose.

Nintendo Network, meanwhile, really needs a lot of work to get up to snuff with PSN and Xbox Live.

I like it! I think it's a good means of interacting with fellow Nintendo gamers and has a good amount of potential.

It looks like a lot of people see this from a "glass half empty" perspective, but I see it as a "glass half FULL". After all, who else would BradleyNews11 and Giga Gamby poke fun at on Youtube:

Ever since Reggie and Sakurai got into a fight and Reggie ate his hands. Also, you can get a free bag of "proveline" cheese from Club Nintendo if you beat Mario 3D World.

It would be nice if communities for M rated games were adult only. It's a little strange that I can post a screenshot depicting text or gore that could not be said or drawn in a post.

XD Oh my gosh, that was brilliant.

I don't mind Miiverse that much. I've spent most of my time on the feature's Super Metroid community and since using that the classic became my second favorite game of all time. Despite there seeming to be plenty of younger fans, I've enjoyed seeing all the different takes people are having going through Super Metroid either as veterans or as newcomers. Honestly, it's probably the best time I've had with Metroid fans since pre-Other M. That negativity is still a bit there, but for the most part it's fans actually talking about a game they love and it's better for that.

If I have any problem with Miiverse, it wouldn't be the people using the service but the lack of screenshot taking for some games and the lack of tracking for my responses to posts (only will track my posts). I also don't care much for its start up on the 3DS where it shows a bunch of little children Miis holding stars around a globe. Nintendo should have put in a more adult option for that load up, which could have been as easy as removing those Miis. I just don't think they understand they have adult fans that use Miiverse.

I've changed my mind it is bad, really bad, I've got 9 yeahs for being a sore loser and calling a game too hard... people should call me lazy and tell me to try harder not agree with me!!! :/

It's just boring not much to do on there. Haven't seen that many interesting posts either.

Yep when ever I play SM3DW half it not more of the level completion posts are "this level is so hard" "I hate this level" "I can't find the stamp/star" etc its kinda sad really as you think people would post things like "Yes I beat the level" or "I found this and this interesting about this level".
