I have one retail download game, TLOZ TWW HD. After I had beaten that game, I bought a ton of Wii U exclusive eShop games. I played them for a day then forgot about them. Checking the activity log, the only things I do on my Wii U is play VC games I got from Club Nintendo and use the browser. Is anyone else feeling the same way?

I've only exclusively used the system for the browser. And I've got 11 retail games.
Frankly, it's mostly that Nintendo's games haven't grabbed me much. I still haven't beaten Super Mario 3D World, and it's not because I haven't had time. It just never grabbed me. I really did try to love it; I spent some time in both multiplayer and single player, but it just didn't really do anything for me. DK looks like more of Returns, which was fine and all, but I don't really feel like spending $50 on it, especially when the original never felt all that special to me either.
Much of the 3rd Party stuff is good, but once you beat it, you beat it, and the multiplayer is typically barren in every game since people don't buy 3rd party games on Wii U.

Maybe you should just stop playing video games for a while in that case. That just sounds depressing. :/
personally I'm one of those crazy people that uses their computer for the internet and their gaming console for gaming. WHAT A CONCEPT
If you feel like there aren't any games to plau, you aren't trying hard enough. I've got 13 retail games in physical copy and I enjoyed most of them quite a bit, but I'd have more, if I had the time and money. I've been wanting Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, and Windwaker JD for some time, now, and I almost feel bad that I don't have Sonic Lost World or Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Then there's Mario Kart coming out, next month and my 3DS backlog. Ugh... I need more money.

For what it's worth, the Wii U browser is absolutely fantastic, and can work great for watching videos. Sitting on my couch is more comfortable than sitting at my computer for me.
And hey, at least I liked Rayman Legends a ton, so it's not like I hate 2D platformers. It's just that the original, while I can say is an objectively great game, didn't do much for me. Maybe it was all of the motion-rolling (which, yes, I understand can be bypassed now).
It's just that I want Nintendo to stop being so derivative with their games and deliver something new. They can clearly do it; they did it with a bunch of games on the 3DS. (Don't tell me to buy Wonderful 101. That terrible demo convinced me that I won't like it, at least for the initial time in the game. I'm not willing to risk wasting money when I already know I won't like the first hour). Unfortunately, none of the games they have in the lineup for this year seem to do that (X has no release date). Oh well. At least I'll have fun with Smash Bros.
Also, I don't want to stop playing video games. I've been having fun playing through Final Fantasy X and Titanfall is pretty fun so far (360 version surprisingly doesn't suck).
I have yet to use the browser. I prefer my laptop. When I use my Wii U, I use it to play games. But I haven't used it much, thanks to bravely default. Finally finished the true ending. 94 hours. Now I need to find another JRPG
I mainly download games as I am way to lazy to switch discs lol. So that does limit me to either the disc in the machine, Indies, or Virtual Console. I haven't gotten an external hard drive yet so I have to watch game sizes. So I probably mostly play VC they are easy to play with GamePad only while the wife watches TV.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I never ever use the browser, I use my computer when I am at home and my cell phone when I travel.
I have around 13 retail games, and I haven't opened some of them. I got 100+ hours from the Wonderful 101 alone. A shame that people do not give that game a fair chance, specially at the ridiculously low prices you can find it now.
If you have the money there are many great retail games to try. Pikmin 3, DKTF, 3D World, Lego City Undercover, MH3, just to name a few.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
I dont really use the browser that much(even though its great) so my Wii U has been a Netflix and Monster Hunter machine for me lately and will probably continue to be one until the 2nd part of this year. I have no interest in DK or Mario Kart, so Child of the Light will more than likely be the only new game I buy for the console until after E3.
I've been pretty critical and disappointed with the way Nintendo has handled the Wii U thus far, but there's still PLENTY of games that I want for it but haven't picked up due to time constraints and games on the PS3 or 3DS being more interesting to me at the moment. I still haven't beat:
Pikmin 3
Resident Evil: Revelations
Wind Waker HD
Lego City: Undercover
Need For Speed Most Wanted U
Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
And that's not even counting games that I picked up on a whim and haven't touched yet like DucktTales Remastered and Earthbound.
Depends on the day.. sometimes I play a lot of games, but sometimes I just want to be on the miiverse drawing and talking, or using the briwser cause I dont have a computer

This is one of the reasons I haven't pulled the trigger on a few 3rd party games that are multiplayer focused. Even if I can find many of them for dirt cheap these days.
Four more months until Bayonetta 2.

eh, I'll play whatever's interesting. I think in the last month I've probably played Advance Wars more than anything else. Mostly because that game chews the time. Super Mario Kart is up there but that'd be because of the nostalgia hit. Then I've also played a fair bit of NES Remix, Dr Luigi and DKC:TF.
I do use the browser but mostly just to playback videos on the TV. Because it's probably the least cumbersome way for me to do that.....

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
I only use the browser when I need to look up something but can't be bothered to leave the couch - my laptop and desktop are a magnitude of order better for general browsing. As for the VC, while I have more than half a dozen titles for it, I've only spent 1/10th the amount of time playing that I have full titles.
