Honestly, I'm guessing it's a new Paper Mario game. The latest entry (Sticker Star) was a bit disappointing but it didn't reach Other M levels of fan-hate.

Paper Mario is the safest bet now. It was popular on consoles and a grand new entry could push sales just as well as a proper Mario game. Fire Emblem is already in production and I don't think that Advance Wars could go to WiiU since Battalion Wars took its place on GC and Wii. Oh yeah we need a new BW game with proper online and touchscreen strategy commands.
Problably (and hopefully) Paper Mario. Because 1) Its Mario. Nintendo likes Mario. 2) Nintendo also likes to produce more of the same and its currently a safe-bet to look at their 3DS projects to see what they believe will be good for Wii U as well.
Hopefully it will go back to the series roots, the one on Gamecube was amazing but the latest one was just mediocere.
To be fair, there's also a high chance it could be Fire Emblem if Nintendo are looking at recent successful games by Intelligent Systems when deciding what shiyld be next. That title sold above and beyond what was expected, so there's a chance they could take a risk on a Wii U Fire Emblem Awakening sequel instead.
Another reason it could be Paper Mario 5 is because there's about a 3-5 year gap between each release. 2015 would be more or less 3 years after Sticker Star.

Because Paper Mario are good, original, inventive, fun games, regardless of Mario. I'm sick of the plethora of Mario Golf, Party and other such spin-offs, but this one has it's own merit. They could easily swap Mario with another character and make a new IP out of them, but that's not how Nintendo works. Mario sells.

I don't see how a Fire Emblem is possible right now since IS is helping work on SMT X FE, not to mention Awakening was rather recent. I'm with the Paper Mario guessers.

I'm really hoping it's not Paper Mario, though, since it really was the last game they released. I'd rather they worked on something else before they do more of the same...
I really hope it's Advance Wars. However Intelligent Systems did not develop Battalion Wars and its sequel for Wii, those were made by Kuju Entertainment. Even so, what I really want is a new Advance Wars for both 3DS and Wii U, that features online and local play between them.
I am a fan of both Intelligent Systems' Wars series and Hudson's (RIP) Nectaris / Military Madness series. They were both born around the same time, 1988 and 1989 respectively. I think the thing that Advance Wars needs that Necaris always had is hexagonal movement and Zone of Control surround effects, which made those games really fun.
