Topic: Indie Claymation Adventure Armikrog Coming to the Wii U!

Posts 1 to 3 of 3

Nintendo Life reported the possibility, and now it's been confirmed: The creators of The Neverhood and Earthworm Jim are making a new point-and-click, claymation adventure game for the Wii U, called Armikrog! Who else is excited?

Pencil Test Studios (in the older comments below)

Just heard back from Nintendo (wow, that was fast!) Pencil Test Studios in now an officially licensed Nintendo Wii U developer!

This game will be made ONLY if they meet their funding goals for the current Kickstarter, whose deadline is the morning of June 27. You can pledge support at the Armikrog Kickstarter page: $25 gets you the game pre-order (no later costs), with plenty of pledge add-on available, and any help is greatly appreciated! The game also has the voice work of Rifftrax's Michael J. Nelson and Jon Heder, plus the Neverhood's original music talent, Terry S. Taylor! For a sample of the sort of Neverhood goodness we can expect from Armikrog, Watch the Weasel Chase!

Question: If this succeeds, and Nintendo backs a Wii port, what sort of features could be added to the port that take advantage of the Wii U's hardware?

Ever play The Neverhood, Skullmonkeys, or Earthworm Jim? Their creators are making a new point-and-click, claymation adventure game called Armikrog, coming to Wii U, PC, Mac, and Linux! But first we must support their Kickstarter by June 27! Seize the clay!

I love Claymation so that is awesome to hear!

Hey VideoVader, we've noticed you're pretty aggressive with the sales pitching! We understand the urgency, but we've already got an article going on our main site; there's no need for a forum thread as well. We'd appreciate it if you kept your comments about that particular Kickstarter to the article at hand, also — you're more than welcome to participate on our forums and put a link to the kickstarter into your user signature and profile information, and that way any of our users interested in participating will have all the information necessary to do so without being hassled or pressured unnecessarily. Thanks in advance!
