(Excuse my grammar)
I was on the possible Persona 5 teaser site(http://p-ch.jp/)just too see if they updated anything and I was hit with an alarming realization I'll start slowly:
The teaser site shows the date in which Persona 5 will probably be revealed that date is 11/24/2013 which is the day after the Persona 3 movie is aired in Japanese theaters that makes me think that after the credits of the movie there will be a Persona 5 teaser, another thing is that under the date there are the names of 6 cities one might think that those will be concerts but I think they're just cities that will be visited in the game
But this is the real thing that alarmed me READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE ALARMING THING-on the site there are three boxes with X's on them and what alarms me is that those might be platforms and Atlus as always worked well on Sony platforms and what company has 3 platforms,2 of those already have Persona games on them.....Sony so those three boxes might be PS3(which already has been confirmed)/VITA and PS4.
And I don't want that,I don't want a Vita,I think it's too late too late too buy a PS3 and I really don't need a launch PS4...I WANT PERSONA 5 ON WII U and I'm afraid I might not get it.
I'm getting nervous and all the hype I had when I first saw the site is slowly turning into worry

I don't think there's much chance of Persona 5 on Wii U, not because of it's sales or anything, but just because it's always been a Playstation IP. It will probably come out on PS3, not PS4, then Vita years later. They always release them on consoles way after the successor has come out.

Nintendo, gets the main series, while Sony gets the Spin-off.

I think it's a fine deal! except the spin-off messes less than the main series with religion so it's more accepted in the west.

Actually, it's more accepted in the west because Persona is more like a High School anime...

yeah that's right too.. sadly I'm in the group that's getting a little tired of the High-School anime(there are just too many of them lately!! O.o )

It's not coming to PS4. Not anytime soon at least. I'm fairly confident in this.

Also, Nintendo is totally at least trying to get it on Wii U. Whether they do or not is another matter entirely, but considering how they worked with Platinum for a new IP...and then Bayonetta 2 was announced...wouldn't be too surprised if it's the same with that Fire Emblem crossover coming out. I'm fairly certain that's the biggest IP Atlus has...barring something like Catherine 2 or whatever.

Granted, PS3 is the main console I'm certain it will be on, Vita too most likely (since Vita has been a Persona 4 machine for some people, or so I've heard)

Persona games have always been on Sony platforms. They have yet to go away from them. Why would you be disappointed that much if Persona 5 didn't come to Wii U? If past systems were any indication, the Wii U wasn't looking that likely in the first place.

Well, with the exception of the first one, being on PC.

And the formula has worked great so far. I don't see why they would change now.

Four more months until Bayonetta 2.

The only Persona games to be on non-Sony were the original (A PC release in Japan) and Persona 4 Arena, a fighting game spin-off (An Xbox 360 release). Considering that and Nintendo's recent history with 3rd parties, I would say the chances of a U release for P5 are very, very slim at best. An Xone release is possible, considering how easy it is to port between PS4 / Xone, but even that's a little iffy, I think. Not sure what OP is worried about, it was pretty much a given it wasn't going to be on Nintendo home consoles.

...for the reasons I just stated?

I'm not saying it will, I'm just saying I think Nintendo has totally be talking with Atlus about it. More likely Wii U will get the Vita version of Persona 4 with maybe more content or whatever and if that does well it'll presumably get Persona 5 Ultimate Mega Collection GOTY Edition later.

To be fair, several series that were Sony-only have come to Nintendo systems (even though some of them were originally Nintendo); Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, Shin Megami Tensei, Kingdom Hearts (well...sorta?), etc.

SMT III (Nocturne) was also a Sony exclusive. SMT IV is the first main series title on a Nintendo platform (excluding the SMT II remake on GBA) in like 20 years. Devil Summoner and Digital Devil Saga were also Sony exclusives. Ever since Sony has been in the game, the SMT series and its spin-offs have been dominantly on Playstation consoles. It's just recently that they've been appearing on DS/3DS. Which is great, don't get me wrong, I love that Nintendo and Atlus have been canoodling lately.

But that's just history. Who knows what the future will hold. I wouldn't be upset if it was a PS3/PS4/Vita release, but a Wii U release would be nice. I prefer the Persona series over the SMT main series.
