i was getting one but i had to cancel the pre-order because something came up money wise. hopefully i'll still be able to get one for christmas, if not then sometime next year. i really really want one but just don't have the money right now but i'm still going to save up for one or see if my dad will buy it for me for christmas. just say that it is a joint gift for my hubby and i lol

It's based on principle more than anything; I (almost) always wait at least a year after launch before investing in a new console. I feel like that often gives me plenty of time to wait out any potential hardware kinks and for the first price drop, and it also gives the system time to start developing a strong library.

what am i waiting for? Same thing i'm waiting for re: the Vita — a system-selling game, something i absolutely, positively have to have in order for me to continue living. I haven't seen an announcement for a game for either the Vita or the Wii U yet that has taken my breath away, has made me really want these systems yet. I'm fine for now with my 3DS, thanks. :3

It's simply called preference, and it shouldn't be a foreign concept. Not even on a Nintendo site.

For a more interesting line-up of games. There are some games announced for it that I would get but nothing that seems like a must have.

I will buy it when I find a crazy deal or a game I actually want comes out. Once they announce a new Tetris game, it will be a must-buy for me, but so far most of the games seem kind of hard-core. If I really wanted to play hard-core games, I'd own an Xbox 360 or PS3 already.

I'm still waiting on Kid Tripp HD Wii U edition.

Anyway, I'm waiting for some actual games to come out.
