They just expanded quite a few of their studios and passed up on several Japanese studios that were up for grabs, so i doubt we'll see this any time soon.
Four more months until Bayonetta 2.

@shingi_70 Nope. I would expect it to be a completely 3D world. Not a 2D Platformer, even though that's what Ghosts n' Goblins is. Some people would not like the change, but some people didn't like the change Retro did to Metroid though either, which was for the better. I'd like to believe Retro would stay away from 2D games for a while.
Rogue Legacy looked really good, I just haven't played it yet. I do plan on getting it eventually. I just hate playing games on my PC, recently anyway.
would be cool to see them "buy" a company like Capcom or some franchises (Meg Man.. please?!)
the things that could happen if Nintendo had the rights to the Mega Man franchise... wow
can anyone tell me why capcom won't release new mega man games? it's obviously their most popular franchise, but they just don't seem to care.. and it frustrates me to no end
that being said... if they were to buy capcom.. i hope they wouldn't get the rights to Resident Evil and Street Fighter
they have no clue about horror games and i doubt anyone here would like a Resident Evil game from nintendo..
and Street Fighter? hell no
nintendo doesn't care about eSports/the competitive-scene and therefore won't invest their time and resources into properly balancing their games
but.. capcom doesn't really have a clue either. just look at what they've done with Resident Evil.. and they keep milking Street Fighter 4 (new DLC, 100 different versions of the game etc.) instead of just giving us SF 5
I dunno about the lack of Mega Man, but Street Fighter and Monster Hunter are just as, if not more, popular than Mega Man

It would be a waste of money for Nintendo to buy any studio that's already supporting the company with a steady stream of new content (Sega, Capcom).
If they are going to acquire any studios, it would be wise of them to go after western developers. Their content is too Japanese for a lot of folks in NA/EU and they don't really seem to have any sort of strategy to deal with that. There's a pretty harsh gap in target audience when your machine doesn't have Calladoody, GTA, or FIFA/Madden.
Even their already-owned western studios are making Japanese IP though, so...
Sony has one of the biggest collection of first party's studio's in the industry, I thought people already knew this. The problem Nintendo is facing is HD game development, I myself don't see how Nintendo didn't see this coming especially as stuff like this has already been documented from 2005 onwards.
Sony is like EA as soon as they buy them then they never do much worthwhile ever again.
Psygnosis were absolutely world class across loads of genres once Sony took over all they did was Wipeout sequels.
All thay did was Wipeout? I think for very much mistaken there, what happen to Colony Wars, Destruction Derby, Formula One etc? among other game's.
They should fund a Nintendo exclusive GTA game it'll drive people nuts XD but it could build up some sales as well.
That's actually not a bad idea, since GTA is one of the best selling video games. They got GTA once for the DS. If they wanted to they should be able to get one for the Wii U. Edit: I just wanted to point out here, that it should be a new, exclusive GTA. Not a port.
Call of Duty is a high seller, too. What would be nice is if Activision gave us Call of Duty: Zombies for the Wii U. A game that contains all of the Zombie maps from World at War, Black Ops and Black Ops 2. With all the maps on one disc, not having DLC won't be an issue as the game wouldn't need any. Microsoft shouldn't have a problem with it since all of that content has already been released on Xbox platforms. I've heard that there's already a Call of Duty: Zombies game out there, but it's only in China. So, if the game's already made, then that should just make it all the easier for a western release of the game.
