Shrapmo	1. Posted: Tue 18th Dec 2012 03:01 GMT Going around the internet on my phone and every game site has people bashing the Wii U. What makes it horrible is these people probably haven't even TOUCHED one! Plus the horribly untrue G4 review is just gag inducing! When I'm on the Miiverse though everyone is nice and positive. They either just want to discuss games or share there talent of drawing great and entertaining pictures... I can't wait to get home.

Shrapmo	3. Posted: Tue 18th Dec 2012 03:17 GMT It's not just them though, it's just horribly ignorant people in general. Some are just trolling because they're bored (I guess acting like a child is entertaining for them), and some just want to spread hate simply for the purpose of spreading hate. It just makes me tired, I should just stay off the internet during finals week.

Taedrin	4. Posted: Tue 18th Dec 2012 03:18 GMT Hardware is irrelevant - it is the software which drives the platform's success. The Wii was an incredibly underpowered piece of hardware - yet because Nintendo was able to put out strong software titles which were very popular, it was able to thoroughly trounce both the PS3 and the 360 for years. Unfortunately, Nintendo lost the casual gaming market to social gaming. We will see in the next few months if Nintendo is able to take back the casual gaming market which they effectively created with the Wii - or if the Wii U will go the way of the Dreamcast.

Shrapmo	5. Posted: Tue 18th Dec 2012 03:24 GMT Well I know it wont go the way of the Dreamcast simply because it is Nintendo (Sega was struggling for years before the Dreamcast fell). Plus I don't care if all those "Hardcore Gamers" move from Microsoft to Nintendo (I'm not going to put Sony on the same level as Microsoft, they don't deserve that), I just don't want them to ruin for me something that I love. I'm enjoying the heck out of my Wii U and I use it almost constantly when I'm home. The thing is they're spreading undeserved hate all over the internet for no other purpose then to spread hate! What kind of person does that? A person with no self-esteem! What kind of generation do we have coming into our beloved gaming industry?

Trolls will always exist, unfortunately. I am actually surprised at how "clean" Nintendo has managed to keep MiiVerse. It is refreshing to see a message board without seeing a single male genitalia anywhere.

You should put your radio on AM for a bit and have a listen to talkback radio. The internet for the over 60s and pretty much the same level of crap you see on the internet..... except that the mod is the troll and will delete posts from anyone who wants to calm things down...... But anyways, the Miiverse community is great. I love that Nintendo is keeping it a nice place. The communities for Funky Barn and other assorted shovelware are hilarious too.

I actually saw one while walking around the plaza in Nintendo Land. It was quite graphic, too. I reported it immediately. I'm surprised that such a drawing was able to pass Nintendo's moderators... Perhaps I should of been a little more clear too, I was refering to the "Hardcore Gamers" themselves and their horrible attitudes, not the systems (of which I have no problems with).
