The wii u gamepad! Im a father of a 2yo girl and my wife watches alot at night and yes i have a second tv in our room but she wants me to be beside her even if i dont watch her tv shows. I have a ps3 and its dying covered in dust i cant play at all !! Now with the gamepad .... Its a other ball game!! I can play at night without asking her if i can play on tv ! Thank u Nintendo :)

Except gimmick is a derogatory term. If its actually good and provides benefit or people like it, the word you're looking for is feature.

And yes, the GamePad is a gimmick, but that doesn't mean it's bad. People keep thinking "gimmick" means "bad", but it doesn't. At all... :I

Gimmick is not inherently a negative term, it's just people choose it as a word to whine about. It and feature are both just say that something, like the Gamepad, is a selling point.

I thank Nintendo for... Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, and any other great game they got planned in the future :D

I also thank Nintendo for the 3DS. I really like that handheld!!!

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I do plan on getting a PS4 eventually.
