You will probably have to get a power cable from Nintendo, so you might as well just order everything from there. Why don't you have the cables?

EDIT: I'm not sure how much you paid, but it seems like the cables are pretty expensive from Nintendo, and that seems to be the only place to get the A/C power cable.

Those newegg cables are still kinda expensive, I got a pack of three HDMI cables on Ebay for five bucks. Nice and thick, too. Never buy cables in a store, they'll screw you over big time. Power supply on the other hand, I'd only go official. No telling what crappy components go into cheap power supplies.

Lots of censorship here...

Ya, but if I want cables now, I would just go buy them at the store. It's not worth waiting 3-5 days for shipping to save $5 when that's not really an issue.
I do agree for the most part on SOME cable prices being too high, though.

Amazon and eBay are your best bets for the HDMI cable. I would buy the cords from Nintendo themselves since they do come with a warranty.

Thx for all your replies. Does the gamepad need a special charger or is it a micro usb? Also, is the hdmi cable just a standard hdmi cable?

It's a special charger. The Nyko cables I linked you to look like they're only showing the micro USB part for the Pro Controller, so you might want to check if you look at the store.

Good find. I didn't care to search Amazon or second hand places. I'm surprised there are already "lost/missing" parts flyng around, TBH.

@SCAR392 Thanks!
Amazon is usually my go to place for cables/chargers/adapters and such...I think I got a USB cable for like 3 cents once

@smileyboy
Have fun enjoying your Wii U once your shipment arrives!

I have tried quite a few places to get my HDMI cables, including amazon, walmart, and other big box stores. The best quality HDMI cable I have bought came from FireFold. All of their cables come at a great price.
