vIjust figured I would get that hilarious statement out there in sarcasm before it's repeated in all serious by this site's Nintendo Evergreen Optimists.

It's downright hilarious that when this company, which has a system that sees releases on average 1/10th as often as it's competitors, announces delays of it's already sparse lineup of games, there are still people floating about here that constantly announce it's a GOOD thing this happened, cuz boooooooy HOWDY they just can't keep up with what's out already!!!

My response: Really? So this game system that you spent hundreds of dollars for, assuming you liked every release Nintendo has made so far, those 2 games every 3-6 month average is just so much for you to keep up with? If so, you definitely chose the right system, because those other guys actually have to "deal" with weekly and bi-weekly major releases Thank God we don't, huh?

Who are these people that play one game for 5 months? I constantly have rotations of 4-6 games going on at any given time in my gaming life, have since I can remember, and am no different than any other gamers I know.

There's always an RPG or 2 loaded up and ready to go. I have a few multiplayer games for when company comes over. A couple platformers for some retro goodness, etc.etc. etc.

But you mean to tell me that as a gamer, you're just overwhelmed with the Kirby title, or Mario title, that released 6 weeks ago.

It's just ridiculous. And I'm an adult with a job and responsibilities. I find time to play games about 2 hours a week on weekdays and quite a bit on weekends. I understand some people have less time to game than me, some have more, but NOBODY that is a gamer should feel we're being supplied adequately.

I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but I don't believe that requires is to just take whatever they give us and act like it's plenty. We WERE given plenty back in the SNES days. We also had just enough during the N64 and Gamecube days. JUST enough.

But this. THIS, is NOT acceptable. And everyone acting like it is is just wrong. We should be being provided with more.

I honestly feel the hybrid system is a great idea as it essentially doubles Nintendo's output. No more division between handheld and home console. Golden Sun can be for both. Advance Wars can be for both.

This will end the problem of us not getting enough games. If this is what it takes for us to get more titles, than let's move on to the NX gen.

Sorry, guys, but the WII u has been a failure from the start. I tried to support. I bought it twice. And I regreted both purchases. The truth is, it's not going to get better. It's been close to 3 years. How it's been is how it will continue to be.

Just realize the Wii U was a big mistake in concept, support, everything. So what you like the idea, and the way the controller feels, and you think it has potential to be the best Nintendo console of all time, blah blah blah. What is important is there is no support for this thing, and Nintendo cannot support it with an adequate amount of titles on it's own. The solution is the hybrid system. And it is happening. Am I the only one who remembers this site reporting Nintendo sold a building and combined their handheld and home console teams into one?

Virtual Boy the Wii U and start over. You now have double the output from combining the teams, give it a cool name and look that will appeal to the masses (Wii U? Stupid!) And use that coolness and newness to win back the guys that are making the games that are causing your competitors to kick your butt on the sales rack.

It's right in front of us, let's prepare for it!

Everyone's going to hate me, sorry!!!

I'm sad I actually wasted my time and read that. I could have been playing one of my plethora of Wii U games.

I would have to read all of that to form an opinion.

Anyway, I've had a Wii U for 29 months and I have 62 games on it, so... ¯(ツ)

So what are these weekly or bi-weekly releases? The Order 1886?

I understand that other systems get much more and I totally agree there could be more out there for the Wii U. Sure!!! Absolutely!!!
But still, is the stuff you get on other systems really that great? Weekly or bi-weekly?

Again this doesn't need it's own thread, if you want to complain do it on the chat chat thread. (as there is no conversation to be had with this)

Thanks
