I have a theory about why TP HD wasn't shown at E3. They could have started the game in May since WW HD took six months. Its been five months since May. And the game was not ready to be shown. Now its close to completion. What do you guys think?
@yaryah21: yea no if anything its been in secret and slow development since they originally tested how a Twilight Princess HD would work back when they decided to go ahead with Wind Waker HD. so since mid to late 2012.
companies have never ever ever revealed everything they were set to do in the next year at E3 so i don't understand why people are speculating as to why X Y Z wasn't shown. it's just E3 it's not the "show everything u got up ur sleeves don't hide a thing" convention
TP umm Toilet Paper??? High Definition toilet paper your butt must be really special.
Comedy master right here.
It think they would have at least teased it. I think that they were waiting until around now to announce this, they even stated that there are more games unannounced that are coming t his holiday season.

I think it has been in development for longer than that. The graphics style of WW seems to be easier to port to HD than the TP graphics style is. And TP also has larger gameplay issues (like the tutorial bit) that they will most likely fix in a HD re-release.
What Nintendo reveals and not reveals at E3 is a non-issue.
I think that's pretty much it. They went into development after making the decision to push Zelda U back and needed a replacement. They'd likely barely started production at the time of E3.
They made an HD Twilight Princess, but only Nintendo staff have access, and they are going to confirm that they trolled you in the next Nintendo Direct. That is my theory.

Probably pointing out the obvious here but a HD version of Twilight could affect sales of the new Zelda game (and vice versa), which means...
It isn't happening, or...
It is happening (to appease the Wii U crowd) and Zelda U has been moved to the NX.
I just can't see Nintendo releasing three new(ish) Zelda games on one console (Waker HD, Twilight HD and Zelda U); though this is Nintendo we're talking about (they do love their re-releases/remakes), so I could be wrong.

If that's the case, then I fear TP HD wouldn't be much of a visual improvement at all.
