Topic: I can't help it… I LOVE THE KOOPALINGS

They are so darn cute. I am OBSESSED with them… especially Lemmy.

I ordered a set of plush dolls but found out they are counterfeit so I am not going to buy from E-Bay. I just love their quirky personalities and how sneaky and bratty they are.

and my favorite… Lemmy, he is so small, just so freakin cute I can't handle it right now!!

I want to adopt him. I love using them in Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. Please Nintendo, put the Koopalings in more games. We can't get enough of them!

Look at Roy in his sports car. I have been neglecting him in Mario Kart 8 because Lemmy is my favorite but I need to pick him more. He's the big, bad bully and about that life! LOL

Exactly what I've said, ever since the Wii version of NSMB, the only bosses we've gotten were them...

Well they took such a long break from appearing in games. I'm fine with a Koopalings overload. I want them in more games. They should even have their own game.

I do miss how the first NSMB had all "original" bosses for the castles. Every other game since then simply uses the Koopalings.

On the topic of the koopalings, I like Ludwig, Iggy and Larry.

My main one in smash is Iggy.

I always like Morton the best not sure why maybe cause of his design or maybe his name. I have found though that my best racer in Mario Kart 8 is Iggy.

But other than the "New" series, I'm fine with them in games like Mario Kart 8 and Smash.
I mean if they're going to continue in the 2D games at least...like, I dunno, give them some giant crazy mechs for them to control or something. xD

I like to use the koopalings in smash, there are a nice few choices but my favorite would have to got to Iggy I think, I just like his insane laughter! then Roy would be the second.

As characters I love them, in Smash Bros I love them...

But not as bosses in New Super Mario Bros. Need more interesting attack patterns.

I've always liked the Koopalings. Roy is my favorite because I like his design and the whole tough pink guy schtick makes me laugh.

I have a mixed reaction to their inclusion in recent games. On one side, it's nice to see them in use again after so many years. On the other hand, I wish they would stop being the typical castle bosses in most games. Maybe flesh them out a bit more, give them more in-game character?

I see a singer is named after the koopaling Iggy.. That is so cool. So is Iggy a girl too? I thought that koopaling is male.

I'm still disappointed that the Koopalings haven't made a transition into 3D Mario games, even more so now seeing what they gave to games like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Brothers 4. My favorite of the Koopalings is Lemmy, and as of Mario Kart 8 and Smash 4, he might have edged out Bowser Jr. Hopefully there will be a 3D Mario platformer on the Wii U that will explore the potential of the Koopalings more coupled with an impressive outing in a Wii U Mario Tennis release. I don't really want to see them anymore in NSMB games, but everywhere else bring them on. It kind of sucks that a Bowser Jr. amiibo is coming as opposed to the full spread of the Koopalings. I definitely want Lemmy.

They have not confirmed a specific Bowser Jr. amiibo in either wave 2 or wave 3 AFAIK.

They're all named after singers, and no, Iggy is a male. Not sure why you'd think he's a female.

Nice to see the Koopalings are appreciated. I like that they're in more recent SMB games but they boss battles are all FAR too easy. They made them way too simple to beat, but that's been a problem with Mario games in general when there are boss battles. They really need to balance the game out more, like if you're playing multiplayer, have the Koopalings require more hits to knock them out.

I really think it was a dumb move for Nintendo to change the story-line and suddenly say they are NOT Bowser's children. To me, they'll always be his kids.

Actually, they were just changing the story-line back to how it was originally intended.

In the original Japanese manual for SMB3, they were referred to as the "Koopa Minions", or something along those lines. It wasn't until the game was released in the west, that they were referenced as Bowser's kids (which was the result of a mistranslation).

So, the idea that they are his kids is the change, not the other way around.

My fav: Ludwig von Koopa - Has this sense of maturity and handsomeness, makes him look so cool!
My worst: Morton - His voice! Augh.....

Lemmy and Larry are my favorite. I would love to see them in their own game someday,and see them more in 3D Mario games : )
