Topic: I can't access the Wii Channel

I cannot get to the Wii channel at all and am hoping someone here has some kind of answers. I have tried switching out various HDMI cables and tried putting them into different ports on my television, still no luck. I get the Green and Pink error message screen that says it cannot be accessed currently. I have the latest update on the Wii U, Wii games will also not load on the console when i try those. I am running a Wii U sensor bar, haven't tried a Wii sensor bar yet but i really doubt that is the issue. Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem? Thank you in advance, it's kind of frustrating and i am scratching my head cause i am not sure what else to do.

P.S. I have also tried switching the Screen resolution down to 480 as well but still no luck

You do have a Wii Remote, right? (Never overlook the obvious ) If you have done all that and can't get it to work, call up Nintendo, they have pretty decent customer support from my experience.

I'm unfamiliar with the error message you described. If you are able to, a picture would help.

Have you tried holding the "B" button when you turn on the Wii U, so it could go directly into Wii mode?

Even the nintendo lady was confused and it sucks cause i bought a bunch of wii games for it. I have tried changing resolution and everything, only thing i have yet to try is rgb cables…not sure if anyone has ran into this same issue but it sucks lol

I haven't sorry. Never heard of this problem before. Is it possible you could send your Wii U in to them some how for them to look it over?
