Uhhh... what did I say wrong? Is it false that most games on consoles run 720p to get 60fps, or 1080p but have 30?
You are wrong in saying it is because of the Wii U's weak hardware that games can't run at 1080p and 60fps
Well explain how he is wrong, I'm curious to hear why most Wii U games are 720p?
Well seeing as how we have more powerful hardware on the market (Xbox One and PS4) and most of their games aren't running 1080p at 60 fps. Mostly it is the fact that developers/publishers keep trying to go bigger and flashier with their games as they are easier to market than resolution or frames. So the engines not being able to correctly handle the amount of things happening on screen at 1080p and 60 fps would be the problem. If the engine could handle it but the hardware couldn't then it would be the hardware's fault, but things point back to game engines more than hardware. There is further proof that it is on the game engine side as smaller games have an easier time reaching 1080p and 60fps. We know it is possible for the hardware to run a game in that resolution and frames per second on Wii U, so the reason why other games can't would probably be left to the engine and design choices (or marketing choices). I hope this helps answer your question.

Devs not knowing the hardware well enough to create tricks to make the games run at 1080p and 60fps?
The same can be said about the PS4 and XBONE's games.
Though the Wii U's hardware is unique enough that the task is harder, especially if you don't have an engine optimized specifically for that machine.
Welp I played the demo from gamestop and here's my inital impressions
After playing it 2 times with sword link and midna and with a bit of a break-in period with the buttons, I had a bunch of fun with it especially if you wanna see enemies fly of the shelves. Heh, for me midna's my favorite. And the music is pretty much epic.
One complaint is the z targeting being a bit finicky. I pressed the L button hoping it would stay on the enemy I'm trying to target and it went away. I'm guessing its hold function instead of tap? Is there an option to change it?
Tip: if you're and are planning to play this game. Take advantage of button combos (dont worry it's just 2 buttons.) especially when working on bosses. I managed to clear the danger circle out of king dongongo with midna.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

I think it depends on the control style, I've been using the Zelda style and there it is a simple tap and swtich with the right analog
Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am

You can press the right stick to constantly lock on targets and then switch between them. Or hold the L button if you prefer...

I don't know if any of you have the NHK World app on your smart devices, but they have a Japanese pop-culture show that airs on Tuesdays called Imagine-Nation, and next week they're going to be covering the recent release of this game.
If you're interested, the show airs at 4:30 P.M. & 10:30 P.M. Central time on Tuesdays.
and next week they're going to be covering the recent release of this game.
Is it the 1.3.0 update that's appearing at the end of this month they will cover?
I doubt they'll get too technical. When they cover a game, they usually give a general rundown of what the game is about, maybe provide some history about the series it's a part of (or series', in this case), interview some of the top people behind the game, go behind the scenes of development, and then the hosts try out the game for themselves.
That'll probably be the case here as well.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
What do people think of controlling Ganondorf? I've lost intrest in the story mode as I'm on the Ganondorf sections as I just find him too slow to properly enjoy so I've switched it to Adventure mode instead.
