Topic: Hyrule Warriors Demo Impressions?

The Hyrule Warriors demo is now available at retailers everywhere. If you have played it, what did you think? And if you are interested in the game, but haven't tried the demo yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR GO PLAY IT! This thread is specifically about the demo itself, it isn't meant to be a copy thread.

I played it 3 times today and I was really impressed. Each weapon felt unique and the graphics weren't too bad. The AI was a little dumb though. It felt like a interesting twist on Zelda mixed with fun combat and huge battles.

Did the game feel difficult? Like did you lose any health?

I kind of wish Nintendo would stop doing these demos at retail stores. Not everyone has time to go to a store just to play a demo, it's 2014. They should understand that people that are usually busy don't have time.

I'll probably check it out though since we'll probably won't see a eshop demo haha.

Surprisingly, dodongo wasn't easy. And getting caught off guard by huge bands if enemy troops makes you lose health.

Yeah not got time to track down a game shop then check on the off chance it has this demo.

I loved it. It felt great slicing up everything that got in my way, and the cinematic-like special moves are awesome. I only tried Link since I wanted a fairly standard go of the game, but I can't wait to try the other characters. I think the Zelda aspects will certainly keep me playing.

The basic enemy AI seemed a little slow, but the bigger the enemies got, the smarter the AI seemed. Plus the music was great.

This all sounds really promising!!

We have almost no demo Wii U units in Finland at all. It really sucks that these demos don't show up in the Wii U eShop for all customers.
