Topic: How would you like to see Wii U's online evolve?

Fairly self-explanatory headline, I think

The main thing I'd like to see implemented in the Wii U online experience ASAP (preferably yesterday) is a proper, easy game invite system. Given how quiet some games are with online multiplayer (Warriors Orochi for instance), I would like to be able to conveniently and easily invite my online friends into the game.

And if that is possible and I just haven't figured out how to do it yet I would like for the process to be far easier to work with.

With MiiVerse I really, badly, want to be able to block out people posting in communities that haven't played the game. I like some fairly niche games and I'm getting tired of the "it sucks" comments spamming up those communities by people who don't have the tick box.

I'd also like to see a hashtag system, but perhaps that would be too much like Twitter.

I'd agree with all your points, though I believe Miiverse filtering is a part of the upcoming system updates... dunno if it's able to block out people who haven't played it.

I'd like to see cross party chat like the Xbox does as well.

I probably should have also mentioned (though this really goes without saying): an update to make the Wii U and 3DS talk about be greatly appreciated. One account across both consoles and content sharing across the devices connected to that account.

That's what Sony does, and it's really difficult to settle for anything less.

Account system.

That's the first thing, anything else can come later.

For clarification, a REAL account system. Not the crap they're playing it as right now.

You're talking about Funky Barn, arn't you.

I used to travel the stars, then I discovered Earth, and these incredibly addicting things called 'Video Games.'

Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Japan MiiVerse)
NBA 2K13

Surprisingly people seem to be leaving Warriors Orochi 3 alone, at least.

Yeah, blocking those who haven't played a game in the community may cut down spam, but it may take away some opportunities for people not abusing the communities to buy said games.
But I'd like to see communities for upcoming games.

I do see the occasional person genuinely ask for opinions about a niche game, and I do try and answer them all.

But, given that those people are a fraction of a percent compared to the spam/ trolling, I'd be willing to block them out and let them use Google for that information instead.

How about no posting but viewing is allowed?

I should clarify. I don't want Nintendo to block people who haven't played a game from posting in a community. That would be rather draconian.

I want to be able to personally block them out.

I think they should be blocked, or at least separated.

Or at the very least, something like "Amazon Verified Purchase" as proof.

@Bankai Oh, now I see where you're coming from. But I feel like you can already block users normally (not sure on this, I haven't tried), is that what you mean?

They mentioned a "filtering" option in the update. Perhaps that can help?

I want the add friends option to be easier to access. Even if it remains on Miiverse, I have to hit too many dang buttons to reach it.

Does an achievement feature count? Maybe it's not directly an online feature, but I would like that.

Also, account systems.

I want it to become a Charizard Actually, I want an account system, too. An easier way to access VC games already on the Wii Shop would've been nice, but it doesn't look like that'll ever happen...

I'd like achievements introduced ... being an xbox / playstation gamer it's strange playing games without em!

This one. One time I spent an hour and 12 minutes hosting a hard 6 stars mission (Warriors Orochi 3) until I give up and play some single player. a little notification option for anyone who is currently playing the same game who also wouldn't mind teaming up with someone like an on-screen message or the gamepad home button lighting up.

I don't have a huge amout to complain about, tbh I don't spend all that much time on MiiVerse. However I enabled Help from MiiVerse on NSMBU, and the thing I hate most about MiiVerse is 24/7 nonstop

"This sure is a hard level"
"THIS LEVEL SUCKS"
"I (insert imagination here)ing HATE THIS LEVEL!!!!!!"
"Hardest level yet!"

...and multiply this by like a million. Sure, there's the occasional ACTUAL help and tip, like how to get an elusive star coin, and where a hidden block is, but there's a ton more of the "I hate this level" posts than the actual help/tips posts. I can't wait for the system update with the filters(that hasn't happened yet, right?) and I hope there's a box for "What you DON'T want in the post."

However, I can't wait to see Nintendo's plans for MiiVerse on 3DS and if/how it'll affect Wii U's MiiVerse. Nintendo did say MiiVerse would be "huge" when it got to 3DS.
