Topic: How Nintendo has blown it

When.the Wii U came out Nintendo should have had a good Fps, racing game and a RPGS ready in 1080 res. This would have had more impact on sales than anything. I was hoping at E3 they would have had these but it did not happen. Nintendo had a brief window where they could have shown off next-gen games but they were not ready and the window will close once the PS4 and ms Bone come out

Yes but by then ms and Sony will have 1080 games. Nintendo could have been exclusive in the 1080 games for a year

I would buy a Xboner if they cut it in half and just gave me the gaming bit of it for $200, kick DRM to the curb, throw away the big brother is watching Kinect and showed a game or 2 that was interesting... I would never

They don't need to worry about changing the name of the PS because it might be their last system anyway

By that logic doesn't that mean the Wii U will be Nintendo's last console since unlike the other two they don;t have other divisions to prop up losses in the gaming divisions.

Jeez. Gamers today are a extremely spoiled bunch. Or a bunch of moaning, crying babies as I always call them. I don't want to sound like Cranky Kong, but damn! There wasn't a game I saw previewed that wasn't nice-looking. People forget too easily how games looked like, say TEN years ago!

Hear! Hear! Ten years ago we didn't really have E3 and if we did (I can't remember, never took much notice of it until a few years ago) it was in its early years and definitely not the international event it is today!

But as a gamer I want a complete experience and due to Nintendo waiting on HD its caused several delays in games and inadequacy when it comes to third party support.

E3 was definitely around 10 years ago.

I'm fine with what they are doing. The E3 direct was nice. They played it safe for the most part, but threw in some HUGE games. Bayonetta, X, Smash bros all dropping next year is what I wanted to hear as these games are sure to be great. If I got metroid it would be better. Personally I will buy most of the 3rd party games on Wii U. I'll get a PS4 for those 3rd party games that don't come on Wii U. Since there aren't many 3rd party games not on Wii U I like it will be perfect

I don't think resolution is that much of a selling argument once you've reached 720p.
I agree in that i hoped to see a more varied range of attractive games by now though.

especially since most TV's out there in people's homes don't support more than that.
