Topic: How much storage have you used?

I picked up a white U. I'm debating on getting a 32gb SD card and a 500gb hdd. What has been your usage since you've had you wii u? Thanks

I've used about 63GB. I just bought a 2TB because it costed only like $20 more or something.
The SD card doesn't really matter until they add photo, music, or save options. I have a 2GB SD card, and it stores more than enough Wii data.

Well, I have about 1 gb left on my basic Wii U and about 470 gb on my 500gb harddrive..

Where did you buy a 2TB for $20?

I said $20 more, but I made a mistake anyway. I bought a 2TB Toshiba A/C powered drive for $80, then returned it to Toshiba and got a $170 coupon and paid the extra $30 to get the same ext. drive in slim version.
I ended up getting about $10 extra worth of merchandise in the long run by paying an extra $30.

It sounds confusing, but I ended up paying $110 for an ext. HDD that costs $130. So I got around 500GB for free.

EDIT: If I would have acted a day sooner, I would have gotten an extra $30 after paying $10, because of shipping.

This the HDD I have, except in 2TB. It has ramp loading technology and shock absorbers so it can be ACCIDENTALLY(don't break it on purpose obviously) moved or dropped occasionally without breaking.
It also needs 2 USB slots at once, but it's worth it to have the shock absorbers and stuff.

Probably about 7 GB, or so, I can't remember. I don't think I'm going to ever download a retail Wii U game (unless it's much cheaper), and I haven't bought anything big off the E-Shop so far. It's mostly just a couple of demos.

I've downloaded as a full retail title only Resident Evil Revelations, which uses like 13 gb for storage. So maybe I haven't got so far than 15 gb.

I have a 2tb seagate external disk. My intention is to dowload a lot of for games, staring with Pikmin.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking I'll just keep a 4gb sd card in te Wii u and get a 500gb hdd for $59. I plan on buying physical media I don't like downloads unless its exclusive or super cheap. Thx.

Ive got about 5/6GB left of my 32GB hard drive, and thats with a couple of VC games and Lego City

I have the 32 and only used about half the space so far, I don't download the huge retail games though, I do have a bunch of eshop games but those are usually small.

i've used up 7GB of 25 so far with.. Need For Speed: Most Wanted U, Earthbound, and New Super Luigi U, although my memory will take a hit when the fall releases arrive starting with Pikmin 3, yes i do have external storage~

I'm pretty much all out of internal memory on my 32 gig WiiU, I'll eventually look into getting a HDD eventually.
It's just a shame the WiiU only uses the SD card in Wii mode, because I have atleast half of my 16 gig card left to use.

Of my 32GB,I have about 19-20GB left.

I will check and let you know. I do have a 2TB external hard drive and the black Wii U model. I have three pages worth of applications and games on it also. I'll check actual file size usage.

I've used maybe 2-3 gigs of data. I mostly have SNES and NES games on my Wii U though.
