Right now, I only own a Wii U from this generation. I will probably get a PS4 late into the generation but for now; I am quite happy with my PS3 and Wii U.

I'm sticking with Wii U and 3DS. I've stuck with Nintendo since the Gamecube/GBA years, and have no regrets.

There really aren't any games I want to play on the other systems, besides Batman Arkham Knight. But I don't think that's worth a second home console purchase alone .

Currently I do own only Wii U out of Wii U/XB1/PS4, whether that changes or not depends on what's shown at E3 2015.

I just own a Wii U and several 3DS's, including New 3DS. More than happy with that as don't have as much time for gaming as I would like and still have quite a large backlog of games, Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends, Luigi's Mansion to name a few. I recently considered a PS4, for Dragon Age, was genuinely tempted, and then, as if they read my mind, Nintendo showed off THAT Zelda footage. I think I'll wait thank you very much....

I've only ever owned Nintendo consoles. Since I've bought a 3DS late last year, there isn't a Nintendo game out there I wouldn't be able to play (excluding Virtual Boy games, that is). There are too many games as it is — only kids with long summer breaks have the time to play so many games, I guess.
Also, Nintendo developed games are so good, that even if I ran out of new games to play, I could always play the old ones, since they're so great. In other words, for me, there's no need to have another console — not that there are any games I'd really like to play on any of them (that would warrant a purchase).

Let's-a-go! Okie-dokie!

Me. I would love a PS4 to be honest, but I won't have money for it for a long time (poor student lol)

heh, I have a backlog of about ten games that I really want to finish and quite a number more that I never beat and probably never will. At the rate I'm going I could probably not buy another game for the next year and still be playing stuff I legitimately want to play. This is why I don't understand people complaining about the lack of games on a system. How do you finish all these games? There are just so many games. I haven't even bothered to pick up Bayonetta 2 yet!

I've sat through the fallow period with just a Wii U, and I keep thinking 'shall I get a PS4 when Arkham comes out? I wouldn't mind playing Street Fighter, Madden, the Double Fine games and a hope for the Suikodens'.

But then I think; 'I'll be playing both Bayonettas for sometime yet, and I've got a mile of Smash, MK8, and Hyrule to sift through. Not to mention Cpt Toad, Lego Batman 3, Splatoon, Yoshi, Kirby and the big hitters Zelda, Star Fox, and Xenoblade. Plus there's a few games I'd like to revisit, and a little list of eShop games. And there's the 3ds, soon to be the new 3ds with even more games.

Not to mention I'd like to have... well a life other than video games. I'd like to go out with my friends, watch tv and films, read books, and play music.

I really don't need a PS4.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

I do, and I don't think I'll buy a PS4 or a X1 any time soon. Consoles in México are very expensive so I'll just stick to my Wii U — and be very happy with it

Only A Wii U for me and it is likely to stay that way. That said though I am seriously wanting Square Enix to release Kingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5, and 3 on the Wii U. Oh well maybe we'll get a 3 disc collection of all 3 after KH3 comes out.

Working on the profile pic. Trying to find a good one for me.

Next/current-gen home console: only Wii U.

Latest hanghelds: 3ds (muliple) and a Vita, somewhere...

But I do own all previous gen systems, and most of the ones before that. Every Nintendo except the Virtual Boy and Game Boy Light (and G&W's)

I only have a Wii U, and unless something drastic happens, I will only have a Wii U. If I do get something else, it will probably be a PS4, since I will never buy an Xbox product again. Neither of the competitors' consoles have any worthwhile games, and I recently bought Last Story and Pandora's Tower for Wii, so now I have even less interest in them. I'm actually thinking of selling my 360 and all the games and picking up all the GCN and Wii games I missed out on while I was deployed and such.

I'm probably starting law school next fall so I don't foresee a lot of time for me to play games for the next three years, so that makes the chances of owning a PS4 even more remote.

I'm very happy with the Wii U, and I see no reason to get any other console.

I also own a 3DS, but I only play it on the go.

(Retro consoles: Wii, 360, GCN, N64, PS1, DS, GBA) — all of which have a backlog of games

Right now, I only have a Wii U, and I'm very happy with my decision. The only thing I may get another system for in the future would be PS4 for the new Kingdom Hearts. I would never even think about XBox One given what Microsoft tried to do to the industry. For portable gaming, I own a 2DS, and am planning on buying the new 3DS if it's ever released in the US.

The reasons for my decision? Other than being a life-long Nintendo fan? The gameplay. While graphics are nice, they have only ever been icing on the cake for me. What I look for in games are (1) gameplay; (2) the level of polish; (3) games that, given my demanding career, I can just as easily pick up and play for an hour as when I have time to play for multiple hours; (4) games I can play when I have friends over; and (5) versatility. The Wii U passes most of these categories with flying colors. Specifically:

(1) Nintendo has only made a couple of Wii games I haven't liked, and has not made ANY Wii U game that I've disliked. They very rarely make bad games, and Nintendo games are only available on Nintendo systems.
(2) Almost all of my Wii peripherals, games, etc. are compatible, so there's not as much of a need to make investments in peripherals
(3) Lots of games with great gameplay that I can pick up and play whenever I have the time for however long I like (Super Mario 3d world, Donkey Kong, Pikmin 3, Captain Toad, Smash and many others)
(4) Some of the best polished and most original third party games (Bayonetta 1 & 2, ZombiU, Wonderful 101, etc.)
(5) off screen play
(6) the most fantastic and varied selection of indy titles
(7) great upcoming games for 2015
(8) A corporate ethic that focuses less on screwing over the consumers (DLC that's actually worth the money, support for bugs in games, etc.)
(9) Dedication to its fanbase
(10) I like the gamepad as a controller
(11) Virtual Console
(12) Great interface

Wii U only for me at the moment.

Hmmm... PS4 and XBone cost an arm and leg, and have limited game libraries with no backwards compatibility. Both look like fine consoles, but neither offers a good value at the moment. Even though the future is bleak for Wii U, the present is pretty darned good and being able to get the console for $200 or less - subsidized even further by selling my old Wii without losing access to all the games from that console - is a very good deal.

That might change in the future. Probably not for a few years though because Wii U (and my Wii backlog) already provides more gaming than I have time for.

Same boat. I've got a few on the go and I'm filling gaps in my Wii collection as well (recently picked up New Play Control Pikmin 2) so I could stop buying games for quite awhile, but I'm like a squirrel saving up for winter and I just can't! Besides this way I'm covered if my mood changes!
