Topic: How many of you ONLY own a Wii-U for next gen gaming?

I own only a Wii U but I'm thinking of getting a 3DS sometimes next year,

Only have a Wii U out of this gen, have a PC but don't use it for gaming. Was very disappointed with the games last gen and didn't get much use out of the Xbox 360 and virtually zero use for my PS3 so went from having all the consoles to just one with Nintendo, the old faithful. Might reconsider the PS4 later if MSG5 is as good as it looks or the XBOne if a proper sequel to Banjo Kazooie is released (and announced b4 I might get a PS4 - I doubt BK will ever see the light of day again).

Only a wii U, as I've only had a nintendo since the nes days to be honest. I do get the chance to play a lot of playstation and xbox (all from ps1 and up, and even dreamcast back in the day) through direct connections with friends and colleagues, so maybe that's no fair play.

But to be honest - I don't miss them. There's only a handful of games that I'd like playing on those systems but almost every type of experience ends up in a much better version the nintendo way anyway.

I have the Wii U and the 3DS. I also have a PS3 that still has some life left so no need to upgrade it yet.

If I ever get another console it could be a PS4 for Uncharted 4 or a Xone for Scalebound, and Arkham Knight on any. Leaning towards MS since I never had one of their consoles so all the exclusives are new to me and this gen's look more interesting than what Sony is offering.

But that is still in the air since I am not huge in most third party games and PS3 gives me my fix.

Wii U is my one and only console this gen.
Too many top games and fresh experiences, and literally no time to play something else.

The other new consoles disappoint me even more than last generation:
The Xbox was never a choice because you're better off with a gaming PC.
It's a system for blind masses that aren't rich enough to get a good pc and not intelligent enough to get a good gaming console.
Other than that supporting Microsoft means putting money into a company that buys out and disrupts real gaming companies.
And PS4 doesn't differ enough from PS3. Looks the same, plays the same.

I must admit, for the first time ever, a handheld is my main this generation. And yes, it's the 3DS. I've literally spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on it. Not far behind is my Wii U.
So far the Xbone and PS4 are too similar to each other, and their last gen counterparts. I don't see the point in buying one as I have a 360.

I'm mainly a PC gamer historically speaking (I was a PC game developer in the ancient past). Although I have quite a few PC games, I rarely play them. I even think that games that can be found on Steam are often more fun to play on the Wii U (when the Wii U implementation has been made well).

The gaming experience and the the fun factor level of the Wii U is something I have personally not experienced for a very long time. So personally, I could easily be without the PC as a gaming device at the moment.

I currently only have a Wii U. I just sold my Xbox 360 as it was collecting dust (minus a couple weeks on Destiny.. while initially fun, left me a bit bored). I do have a tablet I game on, a 3DS, and some gaming on my Linux box (mostly just through GOG.com). If I get another current gen, it may be a PS4, if only to play Final Fantasy 14. I'm pretty burnt on most of the so called AAA's like CoD and AC and all the same gameplay they've been feeding us for a decade. Would love to see some originality, I do love my Wii U though.

I have a Wii U and a computer, but it's not 100% able to play the newest and brightest AAA games. All of my gaming is on the Wii U, 3DS, and Gamecube.

Just the WiiU (and a 3DS) really. I have a PC, but it's not powerful enough to play anything more than Faster Than Light and I don't like playing games on it. If I had the money and wanted to play other games I'd go for a PC (and hook it up to a TV), PS4 and Xbone seem sad in comparison.

I only have WiiU and 3DS as well. I don't feel the need for anything else at the moment.

Don't see a need to go next gen at all at this point. There are plenty on 7th gen games I've yet to play. I can't say the same for 8th gen.

EDIT: Except for 3DS that is. This could very possibly be my favorite handheld ever. Finally I can play what feel like full console games on a handheld. The DS tried to do it, but it crashed and failed.

I was primarily my next gen console, but then I got a PS4, and I do play that way more.
But when I get smash, I know that will change.

If we are talking purely consoles. I am solely a wiiu gamer. but I have a gaming pc to cover most of the multiplats. I'm getting a ps4 this year (not for games actually but because it is exclusive) and ill get the xbone after i get 10 exclusive games.

I do have a few 3ds systems and a vita/vita tv though. I am mostly playing WiiU (captain toad was my 27th physical wiiu game!) then 3ds, then pc, then backlog of other systems. The vita hasn't been turned on in 6 months.

I only have a WiiU. I will consider getting a new PC with a better graphics card when Half Life 3 comes out. Its probably the only series that could get me to play a mature title again.

Wii U is my prime,the PS3 is just sitting here collecting dust. I only use it to watch Blu Ray movies. I plan on getting a PS4 sometime next year if they drop the price.

Yep. No time for other consoles. Also have the Wii/Gamecube backlog and DS and VC after all.
I do want to play Arkham Knight eventually I guess but I could just do that if I buy a new PC one day. So not likely to buy another console, but it's possible... seriously no time though.
