Topic: How is Mario Kart 8/Wii U Bundle selling so far from your experience?

i went to my local game store today and 3 other people bought the game, one of them buying the Wii u bundle

I'm picking the game up next week (have to wait until the next paycheck).... but a friend of mine said he went to Walmart and the guy working in the electronics department said that most of the times he was asked to open the cabinets it was for MK8.
My friend also said they only had one bundle left on the shelf when he was there. Sooooo....

When I got Mario Kart 8, I saw other people buying the game AND pre-ordering Smash Bros.

guy at gamestop said mario kart was really selling well and they had sod systems too. walmart across the street didn't even have it available today.but they did have signs up for it

Its really good to hear that people are seeing others buy this game. There's alot on this game's shoulders and Nintendo honestly deserves it. Mario Kart 8 is really good.

he's just glad to see some good news for nintendo. he said that particular store had 50 preorders for mk8. i was happy to hear the guy say it was selling well.

my friend had no idea this was out. I sent him a pic of the mk8 i just purchased. He immediately went & bought the mk bundle. now i have a friend on my list!

I was going through Westfields in London yesterday after my tutor session and I saw quite a few people leaving Game with MK8 and four bundles being sold so the game seems to be off to a good start.

When I went to buy my copy of MK8 yesterday, the gamestop employee said that the previous 50 customers had all bought MK8. I'm glad it's selling really well. Should help the Wii U.

Saw a couple buying the Wii U MK8 bundle, got a limited edition copy for myself, and the guy who served me got a copy too. I may have also talked a friend into getting it too, tempted him with the free game promotion.

That the one at Shepherd's Bush? I used to live about 2 minutes away.

Nah the one in Stratford the Shepherd's Bush one is to much of a trek for me and I don't think it's much different to the Stratford one.

This is good news for Nintendo and the Wii U. If they can nail E3, they should be able to keep the momentum going for a fair while. It seems almost every Wii U owner will have a copy of Mario Kart 8.

The game is surging up the eshop charts, and in 1st/2nd spots on amazon .com and .co.uk earlier today. It thus would indeed appear to be doing well

It's good to hear that the game seems to be doing well - we'll have to wait for official word, but these anecdotes are nice. It's just uplifting as a Nintendo fan and gamer in general to see games and systems performing well.

Not surprised that the game is selling well. Its Mario Kart, which is possibly Nintendo's strongest IP.

I wonder where MK8 will split the various iterations of Watchdogs. I'd guess it may make 2nd all platform but will it sell more than the individual SKU's?
