Topic: How come my wii u gamepad displays a different image on it then what my t.v. displays

When i see the wii u menu on my t.v. screen i see the mii world on my gamepad and vice versa..how can i see whatever is on my gamepad on my t.v. screen because i want to control the screen from my gamepad but it won't work..

By the way it used to work. .and then i clicked next to a bunch of steps or questions and this happened..

If your using the gamepad, you will be interacting with whichever screen is being displayed on the gamepad's screen. You can switch the screens by hitting the X button.

The Gamepad and TV don't always show the same screen, especially in menus. There is no way to "fix" this.

The only time they display the same screen is if the game is capable of off-screen play.
