Does anyone knows how big is file size on Wii Fit U? (Obviously direct download option).
Thank you!

No one knows. My guess is 10GB.

Reggie says "Its a little on the hefty side"
I'll go with 19GB

3GB. That isn't hefty... hefty is 10GB or more, IMO.

When the standard Wii U has 8GB, and lets face it enthusiasts aren't really the target market for this, 3GB is pretty significant.

By the time Wii Fit U comes out though, the Basic set will be phased out.

I know I don't have 3GB free on my console. I really need to look into getting a hard drive.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Do you have Premium or Basic? Either way if you download much you're not going to last long.

I have the Premium and yes I download a lot but I haven't downloaded a single retail title, unless you count Duck Tales lol

I've just started downloading it on my 32GB Model. It said 4493MB.

That's probably large enough to make me go for the retail version.

@Ryno @Jazzer94 - I have a foolproof plan. I'm downloading and buying the fit meter and then picking up the disc when it's cheap and I expect to need the free space more.

I'm that moron with the 8 GB model...

I can't get the game because there is not enough space. I literally have less than 100 MB's of stuff on my Wii U yet I can't fit this 3 GB download. angry face Why does the OS take up so much space so that with the 8 GB model, you can't even fit 3 GB's worth of stuff on it?? Why did they even make this 8 GB model? I got it because it was all they had in stock in my area for a long time.

Does anyone know if they will be making a standalone disc of this game? I already have the Wii board from Wii Fit. I see there's a bundle of the game with the board for $60 and I have no interest in paying that since I have the board. So, I was looking into getting a hard drive for the Wii U but I can't find a hard drive for less than $80. All those hard drives have either 500 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB. I do not need that much space for the Wii U. I could easily get by on 50 GB but they don't make hard drives that small anymore. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Is there a cheaper hard drive out there that I'm just not finding? I really think it's stupid to pay another $100 on the Wii U, especially when I will not use all that space. I just had a baby and I was really wanting Wii Fit U to get me back into shape. I'm so bummed out I can't download it today.

I have an SD card in there and it isn't an option to transfer any of my stuff onto it. When I go to the system memory it only allows me to delete stuff instead of move it to the card...And the eShop doesn't allow me to download games onto it. I so wish I could.

Not sure if this helps or not what with the new baby and all - congrats - but the $50 game disc and Fit Meter comes out Dec 13 in the US. Sorry I don't know the dates/prices for any other countries. So thats only $30 for the game if you were going to buy the Meter for $20 anyway.
