I'm getting a 32 inch samsung tv in my room as an early christmas present today. :) How would I go about hooking up two consoles though to the same tv? Is that even possible because never tested this idea until later today will be doing this. I'm gonna hook up my PS2 & Wii to my tv in my room & when I get the Wii U it'll go on the big 42 inch tv in the living room. I know it sounds odd to ask but most of my systems were usually one system to a tv usually I don't think I tried this before but can't remember.

My old tv that was in my room died several years ago. Old tube tv with VHS player got a ton of use on it before it died.

Thank's in advance! :)

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

If your TV has two separate AV ports (as mine does), then I believe it's possible. Just hook the respective cables of each console to the two separate ports. So, for instance, you connect your PS2 cables to the port aligned for AV1 and you connect your Wii to AV2 doing the same. Simple.

Let us not judge a man by the colour of his skin, but by the character he chooses to battle with in Brawl.

Most tvs have multiple hdmi connections, and a couple of different type of connections.... like my tv has 2 hdmi, 2 composite and 1 component and 1 for a pc...

If your tv only has one connection port of kind you need then I would suggest looking up cable splitters for that type of cable on amazon. It has worked great for me.

Currently playing: Torchlight 2 , Rune Factory 4, Dust: An Elysian Trail, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Uncharted 3.

Your TV should have more than one set of those red/yellow/white cable slots. Just stick them in there and the plug of the console into an extension thing if you have to. I have my NES, N64, and PS2 all hooked up to one TV. I have my 360 and SNES hooked up to another.

I've got my Wii, Roku, and DVD player all hooked into a splitter because my TV has only one set of inputs on the back. when i want to switch, i just press a button on the splitter. works great.

And if your TV has composite (5 slots for one set), stick the yellow end in the green slot :)

I've got my blu ray player, Wii, xbox, and stereo all hooked up to the TV in my bonus room. Nearly all currently-manufacturered tv's have multiple input hookups. They should be labeled "HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, etc" Then on your remote, you can select which of the inputs you would like to view.

Currently own: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS, iPad, PC's, WP7 Phone and a Vita. Who you callin' a fanboy?!

Yeah the 32 samsung the guy at the store said it has two hdmi thing's I usually hook up my system's to the tv just so use to looking at the different color plug's like red, yellow, green etc in the back of the tv. More visual as opposed to wording different thing's lol it's weird.

I think if I'm not mistaken now that I think of it when I had my SNES & PS1 I had them both hooked up to the old tube tv if not mistaken but that was back in 2002 kind of a blur back then oh well. We got the tv today so gonna hook it up after thanksgiving on the weekend. :)
