What you call a good week, is an average week for PS3 and 360 gamers.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
It may not be a fair comparison, but it does show that even though Wii U is doing bad that it's not like other consoles haven't struggled before. PS3 bounced back from a hard start quite well and so can Wii U. That's what this thread is about, good news for Wii U!
I still don't get why consumers should be all around the sales of games and platforms instead of their content...
Look at the Dreamcast. Plenty of games, but the sales for the system (and more importantly, its games) were pretty bad, thus making it so the system didn't last very long. When systems don't last long, they don't get more games. That's why people care.
Best thread ever

I think Pikmin 3's sales spike was very short lived in Japan and I can't imagine it being any different in the West, as good as it looks pikmin really isn't one of Nintendo's most well known franchises.

I agree - Pikmin 3 is not going to be THE system seller, but it will serve to kick off Nintendo's 1st-party lineup of at least one title per month. So, perhaps to be a bit of a skeptic, I don't expect to see any huge bumps for the system in August, but I do think there will be lots of movement the further we get into the Fall, especially if Wonderful 101 turns out to be an excellent game.
