Topic: Help With System?

So I just bought ocarina of time off the vc, and when I went to put my name in I could barely do it without messing up. Whenever I used the analog stick (which is the only thing I can use on it) it is way to fast. Its like if I push to one side it goes all over the place. It feels really sensitive. I doubt they wanted it like that. It does that on my homescreen to switching to different icons. Can someone tell me if this is a problem with the system, or controller, or its fine

Um....maybe slow down with the analog stick? That what happened to me when I bought the game.
