hey guys, i had to format my wii u, and i backed up all my save games to a Usb pen, then after the inicial "set up console" the wii u does not recognize the pen..
Know, after some research i've seen that Wiiu formats the usb drives to the Specific wii u, being unable to plug in to ANY other device, including, the same wiiu with the same acc, after being formatted, now this is completely retarded.
i wanna know is there any way to transfer my savegames to the wiiu again? i have more than 150hour on MH, don't wanna lose them -.-

Why did you format your console? You're not gonna get your saves back.

Had to, have a problem with HDMI.. was one of the ways to fix it, though it did not work, i will have to send the console to nintendo for them to replace the HDMI

Well if you formatted your Wii U than your saves are gone for good.

What's wrong with your HDMI cable? As for the USB drive, the Wii U formats it so no foreign files from other places can potentially alter your console, their network, and for an overall consistent experience.
Just keep in mind that formatting your console won't fix the HDMI cord next time. It's most likely the cable itself.
Formatting only fixes memory corruption or major CPU/component malfunctions.

well i thought it would fix because when the 3.0.0.0E update came it fixed the problem. so made me think it was a software bug, instead of an hardware malfunction.. now i know XD

Yup. Try making sure the cable isn't 'kinked'. Keep the cable straight, and avoid bends with the cable. I've had cables lose connection because they were bent too often while in use.
