@Wheels2050 The problem is that doing that leaves you with very muddy textures and a blurry HUD with really crisp models. That's not HD. If you look at the Dolphin screenshots make sure you ignore any textures with any detail and pretend like hell that the HUD isn't there because once you see it it's hard to ignore.
This is true (I mentioned above that it works best for games with simple textures). Obviously if the original art assets are in low resolution, no amount of upscaling can help that, but some games look great.
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

I'm ok with this. But i hope that if they chose to do this, they don't do same thing they did with new play control. Even today, i still can't understand why they released both pikmin games separatedely. And i bet Nintendo would actually be capable of doing that again, tbh.I would probably buy Star fox adventures + Star fox Assault HD, or Wind waker+Twilight princess HD... but selling each game individually in stores- no sale. And i don't want to see Wii U "new control play" again, with a 35/40€ price tag on it.

It'll happen. I won't like it one bit and they won't get a cent from me when it does, but it'll happen for sure.

I saw a rumor a while ago that some Virtual Console games will be re-released in HD. Including Gamecube games. All on the new eShop. Apparently if you already had the normal version, then you could pay extra to upgrade to the HD version. It'll only be a selection of the games already available, definitely not all of them. Just a rumor, though it sounds like a nice idea.

Everyone else has done it and they've done it with "3D Classics" on the 3DS so why not? That said I think I have enough versions of OoT that I'm not going to buy another one.

I think games like Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy NEED to be in HD.

Just wind waked. Most other game like twilight princess wont look noticeable better.

I would rather have them upgrading the textures of the games rather then just uppscaling them, kinda like they did with OoT 3D.

Wind Waker doesn't need to be remade. It'll always look amazing. When I say Twilight Princess in HD, I mean completely remade. Think like Ocarina of Time 3D, the graphics were completely re-done. Twilight Princess desperately needs to be remade because its such a good game but trying to play it now is difficult, coming off how beautiful Skyward Sword was.

Twilight princess looks better than Skyward Sword, IMO.

Yeah, no. The colors were too dark and the characters aside from Link and Zelda were ugly

Eh, I liked the characters (though that guy with the chickens is way too much) and the places. But yeah TP was brown and bloom everywhere.

Not to mention some of the best well-known Zelda games were bright and colorful. Twilight Princess was neither

You got something wrong with you, boy. Skyward Sword was too colorful and the character designs in that game were terrible. Twilight Princess was just right.

Agreed. Twilight Princess was near perfect. Skyward Sword didn't even feel like a Zelda game.

Twilight Princess is probably the ugliest Zelda game I've ever played. Brown, grey, yellow and green. Calling that "right" just shows the terrible taste you have. Sorry.

You implying that A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and the Oracle games were too colorful too? How about pretty much every Zelda game for that matter?
You do have weird tastes

Saying it isn't "right" shows how terrible your taste is. Sorry.

For someone who is studying arts, the palett of colors you use, says something about you. But in the end, that's perfecty understandable coming for someone that's into the Fps genre like you are. For some, the vitality and dare to say, variety of colors takes them for alternative worlds and what a coincidence that we are talking about a realistic Zelda...tells a lot doesn't it? And yeah, it's just a video game and all of that...Looking about anime, coincidence or not, Mickeymac seems to dislike the garish ones...And of course, I said he has a terrible taste in my perspective, let's not take my opinion as a fact, shall we?

No I am not. Have you looked at those games recently? They're just right, too. Skyward Sword on the otherhand, is offensive to my eyes. There's too much color and way too many colors used at once.
