"Next-gen" is an empty term that has nothing to do with the games themselves.
That aside, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is the best game available for the Wii U at this moment. [/bias]

You'll find that many people here know their gaming tastes quite well and generally won't buy games they'll end up regretting. As for your talk of Next-Gen, that's a mindset I for one dislike. A word of advice; PCs are the most powerful gaming system. The sooner you stop trying to find an experience with the same standards and the sooner you try to enjoy games for what they are, I think you'll find yourself selling less games.

As a fellow PC gamer, I couldn't disagree with you more. I actually prefer to buy games on my Wii U that are available on both platforms. I don't care if the graphics aren't as crisp: the gamepad makes all the difference for me. Even if the tweaks are minor (mostly being able to swap weapons and items from the gamepad), it still keeps me more immersed in the game than versions on PC. I can call to mind games like the Arkham series or Assassin's Creed. The ability to just tap the gamepad to switch out weapons and items seems so minor, but was such an awesome improvement when it came to gameplay. Not having to pause, scroll, assign items, and then unpause every 3-5 minutes helps me enjoy my game experience so much more. Same thing goes with viewing/interacting with maps and such. It just feels so natural to look down at the gamepad and see the whole area's map rather than pausing, loading, unpausing, etc. Off-TV play is also a nice feature that I use quite often.
also more likely than not, the game you're looking for doesn't exist. World of Warcraft even without expansions probably has more content than any console game ever, so your nonsensical nothing statements mean even less. The only new gameplay coming out (outside of ironically, maybe some cool mindscrew stuff with the Wii U tablet) is the weird simultaneous single player/multiplayer stuff or anything like Ubisoft's new titles.
Retailwise, I own:
Nintendo Land
New Super Mario Bros. U
ZombiU
Assassin's Creed III
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
I can't ever really see myself selling any of these games (or any of the 150+ retail games in my current collection), even though I've beaten them, mainly because I enjoy collecting. Unless they become redundant. For example, I sold Monster Hunter Tri when the superior Wii U edition came out, just as I sold the GameCube versions of Pikmin/Metroid Prime when NPC! and Trilogy came out. I always aim for owning the superior/most content-filled version of a game where it applies. Also, I don't buy games that I think I won't enjoy, and 95% of the time I make good judgment calls.
That said, the only poor Wii U purchasing decision/the only Wii U game I HAVE sold is Call of Duty: Black Ops II. I never really was a CoD fan, but it was the first game in the series I played since Modern Warfare 2, so I thought I'd give it a chance to redeem itself in my eyes with the suggested innovations and whatnot. Solid, but I wasn't very impressed.
The only games I have on disc are Nintendo Land and COD. I kinda regret buying COD, because the controls aren't that great... pair that with laggy mofos online, and it just ain't cutting it.
I see this in alot of games. When you're playing against CPU opponents, the controls don't seem to lack as much, but when you play against human controlled characters, the lack of gameplay options begins to show.
That's aside from the topic, but it also leads me to regreting COD and Injustice in terms of multiplayer. It's not a Wii U issue, but a software issue in general for all consoles.
I've bought everything digital besides those disc based games I mentioned, and the only game I almost FULLY regret buying is ZombiU. I'd give it like a 2.5 or 3/10
ZombiU has a fair ammount of glitches and 'WTF' moments here and there which shouldn't be.
In conclusion, I'm fine with the games I've bought. I've gotten enough play time out of the games I have to say they've been worth buying.
So far I've traded: NSMBU, AC3, and NFSMWU
I still have: NintendoLand, ZombiU, BLOPS 2, MHU3
I've had the WiiU since Dec and keeping telling myself the drought is almost over. August I'm getting Pikmin and SplinterCell. Until then it's Animal Crossing.
Yea I've sold 75%, or like 100% (never bought any to begin with and I don't yet own a Wii U)!
But heck, this reply makes about as much sense as the OP.

Can you give me some examples? I see this complaint from people who've played ZombiU a lot, but after a couple dozen hours with it, I've never seen anything gamebreakingly glitchy, with one exception of a loading door killing me. That never happened to me again after they released the patch. In my opinion, it's not flawless, but easily the best survival horror game since Resident Evil 4.

I'm not sure what type of loading door you're talking about, but I got killed while trying to go to the safe house through a manhole.
I triggered the shortcut, but a zombie hit my in te process. As a result, the screen went black, and I was forced to die.
This is all after I encountered the nursery glitch where you permantently lose your items(I tried again and ran into the other glitch). After those 2 game breaking glitches that have directly effected my game, I have no intent to go back to play anytime soon.
It's an ok game, but like I said, the glitches, WTF moments, and missed opportunity is what killed it for me.
Yup, I Originally Bought
Mario Bros U - Sold [ It didnt feel special like other marios]
Nintendo Land - Not Sold [ Mini games are fun I gues..]
Monster Hunter Ultimate - Sold { I played over 200hrs on Tri, Didnt have enough time to really dig into Ultimate. overall felt like the same thing}
Sonic Racing - Sold [ It looked okay but it was.. pretty Vanilla]
Lego City - Hanging on The Fence [ Bought it only because i was really digging deep into my gamer to try and like a open sand box game with the style of GTA]
So.. it saddens me as a Nintendo Fan... but I do have my 3ds to fall back on.. witch i think is doing Superb right now.
