We really can't judge if it has "flopped" or not, the console is still at an early stage of product life cycle (Introduction). Yes , problems occur like low sales, low 3rd party support, unappealing library of games, but Nintendo has the ability to turn things around, trust me wait for this year's E3, you will be wowed.

It depends how many Mario/Zelda fans will come to their rescue. I wouldn't say its a total flop yet, though. I remember PS3 early days unfondly.
