Posted: Fri 2nd Sep 2011 00:51 BST If you are just a Wii owner for the past generation of videogaming, you would have noticed that the Wii missed out on a lot of M rated and action oriented games. Those are the hardcore games. Which is why it gives Nintedo a bad rep, because everone sees Nintendo as a family oriented E for all game system.

The Wii has been the most successful gaming console this generation. The reason why the Wii's classified as average in any way, shape or form is the lack of variety. RPG's, FPSs, multi-platform games, Third Person Shooters, and serious downloadable titles like Super Meat Boy and Limbo all fall pale in comparison to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Do you have any idea how many games were passed up on the wii because it wasn't powerful enough or because the developers didn't think it would sell well on a family oriented console.

The Wii did miss out on the some awesome games, but that doesn't make it any less "hardcore." When girls want to come over and party, and I have my Wii sitting here with Just Dance 2 guess what they want to do? The Wii attracts everyone and even though it lacks in some departments I can say the PS3 and Xbox 360 lack in areas as well.
