Please help. I bought GHL yesterday and have tons of fun with it. Really. I have only one strange problem. When my son is trying to choose TV from GH main menu i get an 'Error 102-2911 Online interaction in games has been resricted in Parental Controls'. I checked and unlocked every restriction within Parental Controls for my son's account. No luck. This error persists. My son is 14 y.old.

So I got the game on the 30th, and have since been playing the hell out of it. It's a lot of fun. The control scheme makes the game a lot harder, but it also feels more natural, in a way. The Live portion of the game is somewhat short with only 52 songs, about three of those being repeats, but GHTV greatly makes up for that, and funny enough, despite what people said before, GHTV isn't like a subscription service.

Instead, you choose to play one of a couple channels available to you and songs appear from a 200+ song setlist at some sort of conditional random. What songs can be pulled depends on the program playing at the time. Not interested in the songs currently playing? You can always use up plays (which can he bought with in-game currency or real-life money) in order to play whatever song you want. When you reach a certain rank, there are premium shows you can check out. Simply pay Hero Cash (IRL money) or play three specific songs and you can then access a short setlist of songs not otherwise available, yet. Some may be added later. Others may disappear for good. Seems more likely the former than the latter.

All-in-all, I'm pleasantly surprised with Guitar Hero: Live, and I hope Acti keeps supporting it for years to come.

Oh, also, there IS multiplayer. You can have two guitarists and a vocalist. GHTV is also generally online. Though I'm usually playing against other people's scores rather than other people. You can see where they rank in the group you're in. You just can't see them playing.

EFIT: I should probably point out that I only played on Expert. I can't speak for lower level play.

Im surprised anyone bought this for the WiiU but its not like it needs a strong system just a fanbase

@las_cadenas: I'm not. It's only available on 8th gen consoles. Some of us don't have X1 or PS4. Some of us can't afford more than one system. I don't fall into that category, as I have an Xbox One, as well, and I kinda wonder if it would've went better had I gotten the X1 version, instead, but I don't really need a massive community to play against at all hours of the day. I'm fine just playing the songs as they come up.

ive been playing the game for a few days. its amazing so far. i only got one little thing.
sometimes i let my gamepad run out of power and dont charge it because i know im not gonna use it next time i play on my wiiu.
but when im playing guitar hero live i cannot go to the wiiu menu with my pro controller to shut down the game.
and there also isnt any button in the guitar to go to the menu so i need my gamepad to shut down the game.
anyone of you got a solution for this or do i really need my gamepad for this?

Late reply, but turning off with the Gamepad seems to be the only way I've found. Put the Gamepad in the charger while playing with the guitar.

BTW, is there a way to turn off the guitar directly after playing the game?

Very fun game! The musicians reactions when I'm playing bad is the best!

I think this game is fun, I really like the streaming part of the game.

Gaming is the greatest.
