Does any one else think it would be an AWESOME idea to make a 3ds player for the Wii U (ex. Gameboy player etc.) You could use the gamepad as the touch screen.

I'm quite happy playing my 3DS games on my 3DS...

So it'd by like a 3DS, but less portable and with more blurriness?

Because sometimes you just have to go "Bloogity Bloo!"

They will, I suspect that is why you see 3DS games in the Wii U shop, I bet it is coming soon.

I really wouldn't mind, but I would prefer if they improved on other things.
I think, if something, they'll make DS ports for the Wii U. In time.

Except there is Wii U and Wii content in the 3DS eShop (trailers and such) and there was 3DS and DS content on the Wii's Nintendo channel. Don't read into it too much.

As for the idea of playing 3DS games on the Wii U. This is something someone else brought up here ages ago. I don't think it's a good idea but I do think that remakes of ideas that were on the 3DS/DS could be good. I wouldn't mind seeing a Wii U Layton and I don't mind seeing a Wii U version of Mighty Switch Force. Beyond that? Eh...

We already have a dedicated system to play 3DS games on. It's called a Nintendo 3DS.

Let us not judge a man by the colour of his skin, but by the character he chooses to battle with in Brawl.

I think it is a somewhat good idea, but they should include DS games as well

Games playing now: Fire Emblem Awakening, Red Faction Guerrilla, Mario 64 (70 star 'speedruns')

No thank you. The two screens on the 3DS are so close together that it's not an issue glancing from one to another but can you imagine trying to do the same with a T.V and gamepad?

Yes, The_Fox. My PC setup uses two monitors. They are not close together. It works wonderfully.

As for why so many people are vehemently opposed to a 3DS player which they don't have to buy and other people would love? I guess they just like forcing their opinions on others who don't mind things like blurry textures.

Stating ones opinion now equals forcing it on others, apparently. Fascinating.

This topic always has at least one person say that it absolutely shouldn't be done, and an awful lot of people saying something along the lines of "no".
