After seeing those beautiful shots of Ganondorf in the new Hyrule Warriors, it made me wish he would get his own game. Like a full fledged Nintendo developed title about Ganondorf's origins. No idea what the gameplay would be, and no I wouldn't want it to just be some dark Zelda clone. I don't know, I just think he's an interesting villian, and could give Ninty an opportunity to step into darker territory while still keeping ties to a mega franchise.

Sounds like a good idea but @Geonjaha is right I don't it would be that good of an idea. Who knows maybe Nintendo will do it...

He hated his and his people's desert life despite being a ruler so he slowly manipulated the Hylian King to trust him so that he could get the Triforce from the Sacred Realm to rule over the people who had better lives than him and the Gerudo. Also his powers are maybe from Demise or he is a reincarnation of him or something!
/origin story
/prequels focused on a thing we know will happen to tie up continuity are almost always awful
Skyward Sword's main villain says he will be reborn over and over again until he kills your reincarnated self. I assumed that he's reborn self was Ganon.

what about a game where the blood lines represent nothing and the soul of the hero is born on a gerudo while the villain this time around is an evil prince and zelda is a descendant of the old hero dressing up like him and trying to follow his steps?
now that would be an interesting twist for the legend of zelda.

While the origin of Ganondorf has a canon explanation, it would be nice to see how the legacy behind Ganondorf came to be and why it was always a Gerudo named Ganondorf who obtained the Triforce of Power.
Also, of course Zelda characters aren't fleshed-out. They're different persons with each incarnation, and giving them all distinct personalities without stereotype abuse is not only very difficult, but would destroy a lot of the atmosphere, since the characters would hardly be relatable in terms of their ambitions. That is, unless a character-focused Zelda spinoff came to be... which I would love a lot.
Ganondorf is the reincarnation of Demise as a Gerudo raised by the twinrova. I dont belive they could make a game out of that, plus, it just wouldnt be right. What would be the goal?

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
