Excitebots was a great game. I hope we get a sequel but Monster Games is working on Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Dragon Quest IX. It's a great game but too ambitious for the little DS.

...in my pants.

I would love if they remade the first two Metal Gear with the new engine and made them Wii U exclusives like they did with the Twin Snakes.

That is a great idea. You could go into first person view with the gamepad while still seeing the third person view on the tv. As well as having quick and easy access to your inventory.

gotta say eternal darkness. i think the gamepad has alot of potential with horror games the static affects and such in zombiu were terrifying. imagine the things they could do.

put it on.

4 swords, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the gamepad...even though it's a shame it can't be local, the first one played with 4 people was just about the most brilliant multiplayer experience ever...things like switching to gba screen for cave exploration and rupee stealing/pushing your buddies of cliffs made it awesome.
Also an online f-zero with a track editor, they can recycle GX for all I care, it looks pretty good in 1080p.

well windwaker is being re invented so thats great but i feel like skyward sword should be redone for the wii u. with the option for motion controls or not. that would be nice.

religion and nonsense. two different words that mean the same thing.

A new banjo kazooie would be cool, not like that nuts and blots crap. that was terrible. but like a classic banjo kazooie. or maybe donkey kong 64 remake

I would say Starfox and F-Zero are their two biggest franchises furthest away from their last console iterations. And the two biggest sure things, too. I imagine both will simply go back to basics for a Wii U iteration as far as gameplay goes, with online features added to top them off. These two could easily be 3DS games as well, but I would be surprised as hell to not see 1 of these two franchises out within the next year for Wii U. It's a safe bet, and I think like with 3DS, we will see A LOT of safe bets in the first two years of the Wii U.

As far as what I would like to see though, Eternal Darkness needs to make a return. For them to make such a great original game and abandon the franchise goes against what they really need to be doing. We don't want Mario and Luigi 5, Paper Mario 5, Donkey Kong Returns AGAIN!, and god forbid Mario Party 10 (literally) Nintendo! While not always home runs, I think what they did with their franchises and new IPs for Gamecube are the best efforts in somewhat recent memory. Metroid Prime, Lugi's Mansion, Geist, Eternal Darkness, the 2 Star Fox's, etc

Endless Ocean. Being able to move the gamepad around to view from every angle would make the game even more engrossing than they were before.

nuts and bolts wasn't terrible at all and besides, rare has been a subsidiary of ms for over 10 years. Let it go already.

Dang, there's so many games I'd love seen remade. I think Hideo Kojima ought to release MGS 4. The PS3 has a weird HDD install for a majority of their games and MGS4 is among them most famous for a huge install. I imagine Kojima could find a workaround since the Wii U has 1gb ram for games as compared to PS3's 256mb...

And yes, I know the 256mb ram isn't an issue for the PS3. The cell processor helps remedy the small ram issue. My point is that Nintendo has 4 times as much ram to get games to run well. Look at EA's Need For Speed releasing for Wii U sometime this month; the game is the most superior to other consoles and based off the PC version.
