Just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on upcoming games being released soon. So anyway, here's mine.
Games I AM getting in 2014
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (Getting it day one. Pokémon Sapphire was the first pokemon game that I ever played and beaten. It's the game that got me hooked on Pokémon.)
Super Smash Bros. Wii U (Getting it for Christmas. As much as I would want this bad boy on launch day, I have big college exams coming up around the time that it will probably release, so I think that it will be best for my sanity if I wait until winter break to FULLY ENJOY this game I've been waiting years for.)
Super Smash Bros. 3ds (I sadly won't be picking it up at launch. I really want to play the Wii U version first so that I won't spoil myself and get tired of playing Smash by the time Christmas rolls around. I know their separate games, but they handle the same, so I won't be getting the 3ds version at launch, but instead I am also waiting for the Holidays for this one.)
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (I'm waiting a bit for this one. I'll probably pick it up with any gift money I have left. I really want to see reviews first.)
Hyrule Warriors (This game looks like SO MUCH FUN! I will hopefully get it sometime when the price goes down a little.)
Fire Emblem Awakening (I know this is an old-ish game, but I have yet to own it, so I plan to get it for Christmas as a gift.)
Games I AM getting in 2015
Yoshi's Wooly World (My girlfriend loved Epic Yarn, so I can't wait to play this with her! It will probably be a day one purchase.)
Splatoon (Again, day one purchase if fan reviews are up to par. This game looks amazing and unique.)
Devil's Third (Another interesting looking game. Again, I'll probably pick it up if reviews are in the 8's or so by fans.)
Mario Party 10 (I love the Bowser mode in this game. However, I'll probably wait to get this one as a gift.)
Games I WON'T be getting
Bayonetta 2 (In the words of Shulk sort of, I'm not really feeling it. I don't like the perversion that this game presents. I don't mind a couple ahem suggestive shots, but not when it is for most of the game. Sorry guys, I know the gameplay is awesome, but I just don't want it. It's a little too weird for my tastes, and this is coming for a guy that LOVED W101.)
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (As much as it pains me to say it, I don't think I'm going to get this game. I don't want to have to keep looking at the gamepad to play a beautiful looking Wii U game that should be on my TV. As much as I loved Kirby's Canvas Curse and Kirby in general, I don't see the point in this game being on Wii U.

Bayonetta 2 - I got lucky when Amazon described the cheap (£31) edition of Bayonetta 2 as having Bayonetta included, so will be getting this on release day.
Hyrule Warriors - I enjoy the occasional Warriors game and I like Zelda, so will definitely get this, but I'll wait til it's in the £15-20 range.
I'm unsure about:
Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U - I've never owned a Smash Bros game so was quite eager to give this one a go. I was probably going to pick up both, the 3DS one for the monthly Street Pass meet ups I go to, and the Wii U one just because it's kind of the main one. However, I got the early demo code from Club Nintendo and was very unimpressed with the game. I'm thinking I might just wait for the 3DS one to show up for a cheap price and leave it at that.
In the (hopefully not too distant) future I'll almost certainly be picking up Splatoon, Yoshi's Wooly World and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.

I think you may like Smash if you play it on a console first. The 3ds version is a little cramped. Try to pick up Brawl for Wii used if you can. From what I played of the 3ds version (As a HUGE Smash fan. The original was a childhood game for me.) It seems like a taster before the main course. Honestly, I think the 3ds version is the worst feeling smash game I've played, just due to the controls. I definitely prefer the N64 or Gamecube controller over 3ds controls.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Yoshi's Woolly World, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Zelda, and the Star Fox trilogy are all games I'm going to get day one.
Batonetta I'm not sure about, but I'll probably pre-order the Special Edition. I'd also like to see some footage of the singleplayer mode in Splatoon before I decide on that game. And a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X before that game becomes impossible to find for a reasonable price.
I'm most certainly not getting Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

What perversions are you referring to?
Just the overall concept is all. I know she uses her hair as clothes and to attack sooo yeah. Also the constant "sexy" camera angles, cheesy innuendos, weird "sexy torture" finishers. That's just not for me. Then again, I've never played a GTA game either and never plan to. Not saying I don't like sex in my games, but only when appropriate. Like for character development/romance in games like Mass Effect.

Hint: Bayonetta is a parody.
