Nintendo SUCKS at making use of the gamepad!
Id like to know the ideas you have for using the gamepad!
My ideas:
•Yoshi Egg Toss
Same idea as Ninteno lands takamaru ninja castle, but expanded, You start off with a tongue to launch onto enemies(you can only use it every two seconds),when you hit the enemy, it gives you a egg, and you can throw it! And there will also be Egg Dozers, but you will have to tounge the big shyguy 3 or 5 times! Just a small download.
•Super Mario RPG 2(or any type on Mario RPG game)
Same thing as every RPG, but youll be able to customize you armor/clothes/weapons on the gamepad, youll also have a map, theres also a optional control scheme that uses the touch screen for every action, touch the button for hammer to hammer, then control it using the touchscreen, not the L stick.

I like that idea.

I don't understand this statement at all, but you're not the first person to say so. Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, NintendoLand, Game and Wario, Wii U Sports Golf all make much and innovative use of the GamePad.

Wind waker did the most I want the gamepad to do. Don't want any more "uses/gimmicks/touchy-shakey stuff" than that unless it's a game like Kirby mass attack with all stylus control. Or just give me Kirby Mass Attack U or VC

I love the gamepad, I love having a touchscreen between my hands that offers all sorts of neat functionality, I guess my only complaint would be the gamepad's range, it would be nice if I could go anywhere in the house with it and not lose signal with the main unit.

I agree with Lance168. They either suck at making use of the gamepad or just don't want to. The minigames use it well but W101 is not made by Nintendo, Pikmin 3 uses it as a map and didn't bother trying to make a proper coop mode with it and Wii U golf does ok but its just a second view that we were shown in 2011 so why was golf not available earlier?

1. Battalion Wars 3 - move squad tactically with the gamepad map while fighting on TV, use the map to easily switch units, voice chat for online using mic
2. Scary game to play in dark - Just a pure AR horror game where you sit in the dark, on an office chair so you have 360' to turn but you can only see through the gamepad so it's scarier!
3. Eternal Darkness 2 - spell casting, sanity effects, placing pages of the tome in place, silly little puzzles on gamepad, use the gamepad camera to film your face and then play it back on the tv at another time so you're surprised when you see your face on a painting in-game but it's not the face you are pulling at that time.
4. 1080' Snowboarding - gamepad used to press start before using the balance board to play
5. Starfox - could be used like in Metroid Blast but this time to control the great fox and provide support to the TV player(s)
6. Watchdogs - steering wheel (with wiimote drive-bys), cell phone, hacking like in Deus Ex, map
7. Syndicate Wars - squad management
8. Lost Winds 3 - using the stylus instead of the remote
9. Silent Scope/Link's Crossbow Training 2 with new zapper like the one shown in 2011
10. 2 Player simultaneous using gamepad and TV
11. 4 vs 1 asymmetric multiplayer on a real game not just a minigame
12. Any complex RPG could do with crafting and customisation on the gamepad
13. Accordion Hero - touch keyboard on gamepad, comes with accordion shaped peripheral to put the gamepad into

I personally think item menus and stuff like in windwaker are good enough without just being a gimmick. And again "for me" its best possible feature is off tv play !

You mean that it would basically be the same as for Wii? The Wii U version provides much more accuracy with its 2-point position system (both the GamePad and the sensor bar).

Games like "Minecraft" would fit so well on the Wii U, having the inventory on the GamePad. "Scram Kitty and His Buddy On Rails" does a quite different thing, having gameplay on the GamePad and an "audience view" on the TV. "Affordable Space Adventure" has another interesting concept in 2-player mode, where the engineer is on the GamePad and the pilot is on the TV.

I know the Wii U version is superior but it's a gamepad feature we knew about in 2011. EA would have done a better job of using the gamepad with Tiger Woods.
