Here are the recent Game Informer reviews for Wii U games:
Nintendo Land: 7/10. I disagree with that. It is more than 7. Some of the games may put stress on you and the lack of CPU for some games during single player is sorta disappointing but why 7? I think it deserves an 8.
New Super Mario Bros. U: 9.25/10 This review is pretty accurate. The controls are solid, the levels are creative, and the multiplayer is good. I agree with the review.
ZombiU: 5/10 I am not allowed to play this at my age but it from reading some of the action, I know it is more than that stupid number.
Rabbids Land: 4/10 I haven't seen much so I am not so sure what to say but maybe you guys and gals can share your thoughts for this and the other games.

This relates to that bias thread from a bit ago. Not everyone will have the same opinion so it is best to view sites with a similar mindset as yourself.

Hmmm well my personal reviews, after having around 5 hours with each title that follows, would be like following (been playing them at my friends house):

  • Zombi U: 8 - some rough edges but since I like oldschool survival horror better than twitchy over the top too-fast-for-my-eyes-left-for-dead-type I pretty much enjoyed it. Multiplayer is a bit shallow though.
  • New Super Mario Brothers U: 9 - if something works, why change it too much? It has enough new content to feel fresh and even multiplayer is fine - a bit hectic - but fine. I really like it and it gave me the feeling like playing Super Mario World on my SNES all those years ago...
  • Nintendoland: 7 - I agree with the 7. Most of the games feel like tech demos and/or shallow shovel ware, flicking ninja stars with the gamepad does not impress me, the few multiplayer suites like Luigis Mansion and Metroid are good fun though - given the fact you have 3-4 people with you enjoying it.

Hopefully I can soon play more first-hand!

I'd probably give ZombiU a 7/10.

Nintendo Land gets a 9/10 for multi-player, 4/10 for single-player.

NSMBU a 6/10 - servicable, but far from fresh.

My brother has been playing Darksiders II and Arkham City, and both look pretty great, too.

Nintendo fans will completely agree with a review if it's high, but if it's low, then it's inaccurate, biased, and above all, a sheer sign of the antichrist.

Just for you.

How can you calculate that score? LOL .

Really you can't judge the system until it has had a solid release (not ports) of about a year or so of titles. Personally I don't see how you can grade a system until it is in the current state of where the Wii is at now. No more 1st party games are being made and that sort of stuff. that is when you should grade it overall.

Isn't the Wii U a add-on to the Wii?

I though you said that she said that a Wii U was 2 Wii's duct taped together.

Yes. Yes it is.

It's easy to install, too. Just throw your wii out the window, add-on the wii U to your entertainment unit, and play!

Isn't the Wii U a add-on to the Wii?

@LordJoyMan - Of course it's an add on! It has an interesting history too. You see, for many years now, Nintendo has been seeking to break away from the competition. It tried to accomplish this by using motion controls, but it ultimately didn't succeed. How could it be different when Wii rhymed with Xbox 360 and PS3? So after years of exhausting research and extensive scientific tests, the devs at Nintendo came up with something great. Using the powers of advanced science, they were able to fuse the letter "U" to the Wii, meaning that it no longer rhymed. Mission accomplished!
