So I got Game & Wario yesterday from my wife. We both love Warioware: Smooth Moves, and other Wario games. I was a bit bummed at first, to be honest, because of the bad reviews and general bashing this game got on the interwebs.

I think something must be wrong with the reviewers. This game is fantastic. We had a blast playing it through the night. In fact, this was the most fun I have had with my Wii U since I got it. I noticed in a lot of reviews that a general complaint was that the game didn't make groundbreaking use of the Gamepad. Maybe that can be chalked up to being an early release for the system, but there are other games with much higher scores that don't do diddly poop with the Gamepad. I don't think this is a 10/10 game, but I would say it is a must own for the system, and an 8/10 would be appropriate.

Has anyone else had a blast with this one? Any highlights in particular?

Yep I only find it ok BUT the gamer mini game is absolutely amazing fun I can't get enough of it!

It's pretty good- I think it could have used some more depth in some of the games tho. So, it could have been much, much better. 7.5 out of ten.

No doubt. Great game for family time or hosting company. Everyone loves it and there's something for every situation and interest. Really wish it and Wii Party U were installed on every system. Or they could break up some of the mini games and offer them cheap on the eShop...

Having Gamer available as a stand alone eShop game would draw people to Game & Wario for sure. My family is still at it today. I keep asking if anyone wants to get down on some SM3DW, but no takers. I have had a few friends ask what games they should get for their Wii U, and now it looks like this is the one I have to say is a must have. (Stands up and slow claps for Nintendo. Tears streaming down face.)

I wasn't aware it got bad reviews myself. My kid likes mini games and I enjoy playing these kinds of things with her. I think it's a great collection and actually would have selected this as the bundled launch title rather than Nintendo Land as it's Gamepad-only and makes great use of it. The drawing game alone is worth it. Add Wii Party U and Spin the Bottle and you've got a party!

i really like the patch puzzles and the gamer level which is my favourite because thats what the original wario ware was. im not too fond of the actual multi player levels though, id rather just take turns in single player.

Yeah the patch levels are great I wish I had game and Wario installed just for this cause I love doing these while I'm lying in bed before I go to sleep and cant be bothered to get up and take 3D world out lol
