So I know that the 3DS had an update awhile ago that allowed you to create folders for games and aps, I was curious, does the Wii U have the same ability? I would like to have folders to organize stuff.

Come on! I love turning on my Wii U and being swallowed by an avalanche of games at the ready. It's like being a kid and just dumping all your toys all over the floor of your room. Folders are like crappy toy boxes, dressers, etc that parents use to hide away all the fun. Like a tyrannical tool of OCD dictatorship.
hopefully if they do implement it, they'll do a better job than the way it is on the 3DS. i hate the little one-letter folders :/

My Wii U channels are pretty organized even without folders.
Page 1 - Apps
Page 2 - eShop Games
Page 3 & 4 - NES Games
Page 5 & 6 - SNES Games
Page 7 - Demos
I was a little worried for a moment because I was about to run out of space on my pages, but luckily it automatically adds a new page once you've added enough channels.

You don't want to be one of those people, do you?
I prefer my games organized by system

I would also like to be able to insert channels rather than simply swapping them - again like you can with 3/DS(i) channels - it makes my occasional bout of reorganisation a bit annoying! I tend to group all the download software separate from the VC stuff and apps and then alphabetise within those three categories. Games/apps I'm I'm not interested in are on the page following the last one of stuff I use.
Folders would be nice, but I would probably only use it to group utilities and stuff I don't use, though given I have three pages of games I might well change my mind!
