Even though IDC I kinda want a football manager like the fifa mode but a whole game based on that. (On Wii U)
Personally I do not give a crap about sports games. But my brother loves football (soccer) and is a avid fan of the Fifa franchise. One of the core reasons why he picked up the Wii U is so that he can play Fifa 13 on the gamepad. He is going to be pretty disappointed to know that Fifa is going to skip the Wii U again. I'm pretty sure he will not be the only Wii U owner to feel that way.
However it still sucks that a big franchise like Fifa is skipping the Wii U twice. It's not a good sign whether you cared about it or not.
Even though everyone is just gonna brush this off as LOL SPORTS GAME WHO CARES this is a decent blow for the Wii U. It's ridiculously lacking in sports games and a lack of variety is never a good thing. It only makes it harder to sell.
Ya, but those games sold poorly for a reason. Even if NFS: Most Wanted was the definitive version of that game, it was still an older game. That was a game EA probably should have had at launch, FIFA and Madden were gimped, etc. It's not difficult to see why 3rd party games are failing on Wii U.
There isn't very many, and the ones that are there are gimped or late ports. People want new games. EA needs to get Sims 4 or Spore out, Activision will probably release CoD again, Ubisoft is still getting Watch Dogs out for Wii U, etc. Wii U is in a differnt situation than Xbox and PS, so we need to treat it as such.
If 3rd parties were putting gimped and late ports on Xbox One and PS4, would people really still buy them?
This. a thousand times this. Why do 3rd parties keep making such obvious mistakes with their releases? Do they think that by cutting corners that Wii U owners won't know the difference?
Well, I speak with my wallet and I don't buy titles that are stripped back or six months late.

Mass Effect 2 came out late on the PS3, Skyrim was unplayable until a long overdue update which came out well after the new DLC on the 360 came out, many versions of Madden suffered from frame rate issues on the PS3 and they still sold well on that one so.... Yeah they did it the PS3 and look at the PS4 now! All that support because the past console showed them that the people will buy games on that system.

The games were still new, though. The Wii U port of games from Xbox 360 didn't even get things Xbox 360 had. That's just sad, and that has nothing to do with Wii U's capability. They just don't know how to handle Nintendo's new system.
The PS3 may have gotten a few blurry textures and framerate issues, but it was still 7th gen. That's the key part your'e missing by comparing Wii U to PS3. Also, those were instances that 3rd parites were in control of. No one blamed Sony for Skyrim running like s***, but people are quick to blame Nintendo under the same circumstances.
